Kiengkham Kind of Thanksgiving

This was mine and husband's first Thanksgiving as a married couple. We hope you all had a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving with your family and friends. I am thankful for our God, because of him there is much to be thankful for. I am thankful to have a fantastic husband who is always my rock and best friend. I am thankful for my fun loving family, they are my world. We are blessed that grandpa was able to come home from the hospital and be with family and friends for Thanksgiving. I am thankful for the three different Thanksgiving feasts this year. I am thankful for so much this year, two major events: our family and friends who shared our wedding day and moving into our first home! A tradition is to put the Christmas tree up on Thanksgiving day. This year we did it on Thanksgiving Eve in our first home. We were so excited and could not wait! I wanted to share these photos before it is all finished. We still have the tree topper and more tree ornaments to put on. More to com

outfit of the day: blue hue

What I wore:   Papaya Dress Express Polka Dot Legging Payless Riding Boots   This dress is one of my most comfy dresses. I wear it around to various places: dates (anniversary date to pho real), the office, and to church service. This time I wore it out to a church dinner. It is a baby doll type dress and some may not like that it flares out.  I don't mind because the dress is so comfortable and makes me feel great!

outfit of the day: fancied tweed

what I wore:   Turtleneck: ( similar ) Tweed Skirt & Tights: Ann Taylor Boots: ( similar ) Eyeglasses: ( similar )   Tweed and Fall go hand in hand. The vertical leather accent on this tweed skirt gives this classic style skirt and instant edge. I matched it up with these faux leather boots. I think the leather and cat eye details plays with classic style and trendy.   Thanks for stopping by!

friday favorites

Hi All, Hope you had a fun Halloween! I enjoyed giving out treats to all the kids. It was our first year in our first home giving treats out. We had about 30 kids and they were all so great! Although, I have so much candy left over. Guess more for us! It's the first of November so i'm doing a themed Friday favorite post. This year my husband and I handed out candy to 30 kids as Queen of Hearts and Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. I'm a huge Disney fan and loved that we could have a couple costume this year for Halloween. Here are my favorites this week: Favorite cookies: these pumpkin cookies are delish! (source pinterest)   Favorite scenery: I love seeing all of the foliage in the fall time here on the east coast. (source pinterest) Favorite holiday movie: Love at the Thanksgiving parade is one of my favorites to watch this month as Thanksgiving approaches. (source pinterest) Favorite parade: Macy's Thanksgiv
