kiengkham's korner: memorial weekend

My husband and brother worked on Haylee's nursery. Forget the mess! We have a couple of weeks before we can move out the spare bedroom bed and dresser out to our new shed. YAY. I can't wait to move baby stuff in there!  They did a fantastic job! They added board and batten and some paint to the room. My husband also installed a pretty chandelier to the baby's room. Haylee's room is coming along very nicely and is better than our room. I need to think of updating our room! Our three day weekend started with a Family Fun Day at our church. We had a great time with face paint, games and hanging out with our church family/neighbors. After, Souwan finished phase one of the nursery we decided to take a day off and head to the pool. It was a beautiful day out! The water was very cool for the first day of pool season.   We are 29 weeks and Haylee is the size of a pineapple. We got results back from our sugar test, but not the news we wanted. My resu

kiengkham's korner: weekly photos

Our maternity photos! These are a few of my favorites. It was challenging taking photos of my husband and myself, but they turned out well. We used a tripod and self timer for the photos. I wanted to keep the photos as simple as possible.  I wanted it out in the natural space with lots of trees and greenery around. It also captures my love for the country outdoors, which you can find easily here. I was 27 weeks in these pictures.     Souwan and I attended our church picnic. We had so much fun playing games and eating good food. I'm still thinking about the delicious food! We even had a deviled egg contest where my friend Mark took first and I took runner up. Who knew I could make deviled eggs?!     Souwan playing ladder ball.     We did really good on coupons this week. Look how much Sprite we have! Thru my pregnancy it has been difficult to stay away from Cheerwine and Sweet Tea, but Sprite has been my companion haha. The sprite was free! Don't

We spent some time at Crane Creek for a sweet little girl's birthday. It was a really nice day out.     My husband and I visited my Grandma's house. Mango and coconut rice is a great treat!     Cousin selfie (and my husband)!     We didn't spend much on coupons this time, but I am glad we purchased diapers and pull ups for our stock!   Before coupons: $47.51 After coupons: $1.26!!!     We are 26 weeks and baby Haylee is the size of a butternut squash. My first sweet craving is strawberries.
