The boat race was earlier this month. It's been quite crazy around here this month. We had the boat race, Haylee's birthday, family visiting and a beach trip coming. It's been a great/busy month.   This is the 3rd annual boat race, however it was our first time. We had a great time out on the lake. It was very hot, but we had a tent set up, fans and lots of refreshments! Haylee really enjoyed it and had fun with everyone! My husband was in the race and I was a happy cheerleader! They got 2nd place and the corporate health cup.   I hope we get to attend this again in the future, enjoy the photos!  

  We had a big celebration this month, our baby girl turned one! These photos are from her birthday party and visit with family. We were so blessed that so many of our closest family and friends made it out to celebrate Haylee's first birthday. It was a hot day too and even with that hot hot day, everyone was in great spirit and enjoyed the day. I think next year we are going to look for a venue with air condition! Our snow cone machine could not have picked the worst time to stop working. I'm so glad the kids forgave us and enjoyed the piñata, balloons, toys, cake and dessert table instead. That worked out in our favor! haha! Haylee may not remember this day, but i'm so thankful to have captured it. I mostly took video with the help of our great friends. My aunt, an amazing photographer helped photograph the day and I wish I could upload ALL her photos on here too, but you can check those out on facebook. Well hopefully I can say that we will be doing more of these posts. It's been tough to keep up with posting blogs with the little one and a job. I'm working on more posts this week, her birthday photos and the boat race my husband was in a couple of weeks ago.   This is one of my favorite dresses for the summer!
