kiengkham's korner: paradise ice

Our friend Allison took us to one of her favorite spots for Ice cream. I enjoyed this little paradise and the tropical treats were delicious. I had the pina colada paradise ice and it was perfect for the humid day. The atmosphere is very tropical and can definitely take you away for a bit.   My husband, friend and I had a day of arts and crafts. We went to the thrift store and dollar store to pick up pieces for our projects. Allison and I made a jewelry stand using plates, candle sticks, wine glasses, stickers and paint. My husband Souwan made a drink holder using old wood holder with a sand dollar and some paint. It was so much fun using our creative side to create these fun projects. Since it was summer we decided to go with a beach theme. Souwan's project is not finished yet, but i'll post a final photo when it is done.     I'm very excited to share more of our couponing pile. I have been behind on posting for the past two weeks. W...

kiengkham's korner: brain freeze!

His favorite "must do" when he comes home is eating at our favorite Chinese restaurant. I am glad we do this, because it is the only time I get dim sum! My husband and I have been waiting anxiously to start our garden and plant our flowers/vegetables. We started with planting our Tulips. Our tulips have fully bloomed and the petals have fallen. I will not be able to get photos of them this year, but hopefully next year! Souwan attended our church's Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner. He had a wonderful time with our friends. I was...

cardigan: gift shirt: ralph lauren pants: ann taylor belt: thrift shoes: gift I wore this and someone from work told me I looked like a neopolitan ice cream. I laughed. Then, I looked at myself. He was so right. I was actually going for a chic nerd look. The color was inspired by my fave Lily Pulitzer . The cropped pants can only should be worn with heels. I've worn the pants with flats. Learn from me, the flats and cropped pants will make you look short(er). Happy early St. Patrick's day! Don't drink too much green beer.  Love Japan
