Friends of the family and older women help me get dressed in traditional Laos wedding attire. The ceremony began with the parade of the groom. His family sang and cheered as he entered our home. The youngest girl of the bride's family sprinkles water over the groom's feet. And the groom is welcomed by the Bride's family.   Our first sight ceremony began with prayers Our parents tie strings that are blessed and give us blessings. Usually couples do engagement photos to get to know their wedding photographer, announce their engagement, and/or save the date cards to send to family and friends. These photos were our casual look.
