life lately no. 2

Hi Ya'll! This is my little corner of the world and we're happy you're here! I'll tell you what our family has been up to and give you more details than ya need. Ready?! Ok here we go! Zoo - We visited the Asheboro Zoo with some of our good friends and they brought their kids too. We had a fantastic day there. I insist you go because there is so much to explore and so fun with the kids! We are already planning another trip. ( Photos here )  July 4th - ( Photos here ) We visited the Faith fair and Haylee rode her first ride. I hope she likes Disney more than she did the rides at the fair. She also played a fishing game which she won and took home a prize. Ballet - Haylee joined a summer ballet/tap class in town. She enjoys it so much we plan on continuing it! Our good friend Emily teaches the class, which is the best. Haylee loves all of the moves she learns. Sometimes we come home and dance more.  Kickball - My husband joined a kickball league this summ

wedding wednesday: simple floral centerpieces

Hi Ya'll! It's a new month and a new wedding Wednesday! It's my favorite time!!! Today I'm showing ya'll simple floral centerpieces. It's weird because I just had a meeting with one of my brides where we talked about ideas for centerpieces. I think this is the perfect topic for wedding Wednesday! Also, I'm not a professional florist by any means. Florists do a wonderful job creating magnificent arrangements and are total artists!!! Every bride has different budgets and where they choose to spend for their special day. Some brides splurge on centerpieces, but some brides may opt to splurge on photography. So, if you don't want to splurge on centerpieces and want something sweet and simple stick around! These flowers are from my back yard! I love flowers! Having fresh florals all over the home is my favorite décor. However, you can go to the supermarket and pick up some fresh florals too! I had so much fun playing with these floral arrangements. It

The BBQ and ice cream at the fair always seem to taste better. Haylee was tall enough to ride a couple of the rides at the fair this year. The under sea adventure was the ride she and Souwan could go on together. She didn't really enjoy the ride as much as watching the other kids. She smiled but no loud noises of excitement from her. I really hope she warms up to it because we're taking her to Disney this fall and this was her trial run! We will just say she did not have a nap yet and was moody. Yep! I'm going with that. Haylee did enjoy the fishing game. She got 3 tries and 2 of them she caught a shark. She got to pick a stuffed animal from the "medium" collection of prizes hanging. Her choice was a donut. Out of all the cute little animals, Haylee picks a donut. Yes, she is mine. Haha! The fourth is usually
