makeup monday: beauty haul

In this haul: maybelline dream bouncy blush in rose petal $6 maybelline great lash mascara $6  mary kay mineral powder foundation - gift Readers, this is my first ever haul! I never have bought this much in one time. Now I can actually do a haul. I'm not sure how those other girls do it! Ha! I admire their hauls though. I envy them. Why now? Well, I left my beauty bag at home one day and had to buy makeup to get me thru the day.  So I tried great lash mascara and dream bouncy blush. First the mascara. It was okay. I know its a classic, but i'm not crazy about it. The brush and formula made my lashes clump together. Not good. It did nothing for me. However, the price on this mascara is awesome. Second the blush. I have been wanting to try this,  I've been told to try it (sorry for the long wait) and now I have it! I like it. It blends well. It is a pretty color (rose petal). Not sure I would repurchase at the moment. Maybe, I need more...

mani monday: rose petal & shimmer

I used Loreal rose petal and wet n wild diamond in the rough in this week's mani. I love the rose petal with the accent shimmer. Its classy and fun! This Loreal is such a pretty light pink color. It can be worn as an everday or special occasion polish. I did not like the brush or the formula of this polish. It was streaky and very difficult to work with. I had to apply so many coats, three or more at least. It chips very easily. I will not be repurchasing or recommend this polish.

mani monday: contrasting colors

I saw this color on the shelf and fell in love. It's Sally Hansen Insta-Dri color in mint sprint. The insta-dri is new to Sally Hansen and to me. The color dries within 4 minutes. I love that! It also is a very thick polish and only needs one coat! The brush is different. It is a flat brush and glides on smoothly. I recommend this product 100%! There are 60 different colors. Go out and get yourself one! The sparkly contrast color is wet n wild's color icon in diamond in the rough. Happy Monday friends!

makeup monday: maybelline color tattoo 24hr

One of the newest products to Maybelline is the color tattoo 24hr cream gel shadow. According to Maybelline it is a long lasting shadow with vibrant color. It comes in 10 shadow/colors. I purchased the "tough as taupe" color. It looked like a great color to wear daily. I love my neutral shades. The product comes in a small glass container. A great amount of product is given. I bought this at my local Target for $7bucks. I believe it is an average price. It applies smoothly on the lids. It is best applied using fingertips. The duration of color is long lasting. It does not come off through out the day. No fading just as advertised. The taupe color is a beautiful matte color. I like that the color is not sparkly. This taupe is a great color for work, going out, even creating a smokey effect. I have been wearing this every day since I purchased it! This is a great product overall. I would buy more of these! I definitely recommend this product.

Makeup Monday: Revlon lip butters

A reader asked me to do some reviews on make up products.  I'm happy to!  Anything you guys  want to see/read, let me know.  I will try my best! One of my recent purchases was the Revlon color burst lip butters.  I purchased two colors, peach parfait and berry smoothie.  The lip butters come in a variety of colors, 20 different colors approximately.  I love the variety of colors this product comes in! The formula moisturise the lips and hydrates them.  They glide on the lips smoothly- just like butter.  The color is somewhat sheer to medium.  I think more medium is accurate.  I would not put his in the same category as a lip balm or chap stick.  These do not have any wax like substance, which is usually in lip balms and/or chap sticks to seal in moisture.  I could be wrong on this, but they do not feel the same to me.  I do choose wearing the lip butters over my EOS lip balm and blistex chap stick on a daily ba...
