what HE wore

Meet my husband, Souwan! He is such a huge support for me. He let me practice taking photos of him. I explored black & whites and overlays in these photo shots of him. I'm still learning what works and what doesn't! My husband is not first in line to have a pictures taken of him. He is usually the man behind the camera on all of my outfit posts. Let's give him applause for getting out of his comfort zone! A few facts about this man of mine: He is from Alabama and is proud of saying "Roll Tide". He works in Human Resources. He loves to cook. He (thinks he) is a handyman. He can eat anything and not gain a pound. He really likes me. At 4pm everyday he sends me a love message. He does not like cats.  He doesn't want you to know any of this. what he wore: Ralph Lauren Jacket and button up//Old Navy Jeans//Breather Wright boots

Disney World's Animal Kingdom

If you have been following along my wedding series, you know our honeymoon was spent at Disney World. It was my first time going to Animal Kingdom and our first stop of the many Disney parks. I enjoyed Animal Kingdom! The animals are spectacular. Going on the safari made me feel like we had not gone to Disney, but to Africa for a safari tour. I had never been near animals that were not enclosed. You would think it would be scary to be near a lion, however it was thrilling!   Animal Kingdom has a major roller coaster, Mount Everest. You encounter a huge surprise on the ride..I'll keep it secret for you to find out on your trip! I don't get scared on most roller coasters, however I'll admit I dug my nails into my husband's arms and screamed on this ride.   We saw a couple of fun shows: Festival of Lion King and Finding Nemo. The shows were incredible. So full of musical talent, puppetry, and magnificent costumes.   I could not leave without watching the parad...

my most favorite moment

Happy one month anniversary to me and my hubby! I promise not to countdown every month, but It's just astonishing that we've been married for a month now. My first full month as a Mrs. was a breeze. Well other than jumping hoops to get my new last name on everything (govt docs, bank docs, work etc)! I wish there was a button to change everything at once. The titles have been surreal, "husband and wife". We're loving it but it still surprises us sometimes haha. Having a new signature has been a challenge, but I'm definitely memorizing it. The UPS guy has been a help for me. I practice signing my new name lol. We're going on our honeymoon soon! We decided for a later honeymoon. I'm glad, because I would've slept our entire week there. I'm excited to go on vacation to Disney World. We'll be spending the week at the many different parks: Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Magic Kingdom. We'll be staying at a Victorian villa nearby Dis...

we're married!

photos by: Amy & Evelyna   I wanted to share a quick post. We said "I do" on Saturday June 8th, after 8 years we are now husband and wife! I wasn't able to take any photos with my phone the day of, but our family and friends shared photos of our day. Thank you all for sharing those. Here is a glimpse of our special day, more photos will be posted later. The best memories of our day was: It rained the whole week of our wedding week, we thought it would be raining on our day. It rained the morning of, but was sunny when our traditional Laos ceremony began. It's good luck when it rains on your day. I'm glad the sun came out and Hurricane Andrea gaves us a break from the rain. The Laos ceremony was beautiful. The older women helped me get dressed in traditional wedding dress.  My uncle led the wedding, we got laughter, cheers, and tears from him and the guests. Our photographer (Aunt Nyvanhn) did an amazing job! She not only too...
