wedding wednesday: rings and bearers

We have 2 months and 4 days left! The fiance and I went ring shopping. I enjoyed it so much! I was in a candy store. The pearls and diamonds were fantastic. Could I just have all of it, please? We tried on wedding bands, and purchased both of ours. The Tacori jewelry caught my eye, (top right) the drop earrings were my favorite. I also could not keep my eyes off of the pearls (bottom right). My fiance needs to purchase all of that for me, haha. Souwan tried on more bands than I did. He went back and forth on two bands. (bottom left) I was pretty easy, trying only one on. "I be on my suit and tie" (Justin Timberlake song) This song came to my mind when seeing my ring bearers. They are just the cutest!! Since they are little men, their tuxes had to be ordered and shipped. Since they are kids and growing it was better to wait closer to the date. I finally get to add these too! My cousin, an usher, came home from college and got fitted. And below is my father-t...

wedding wednesday: groom's and groomsmens' tux shopping

This past Saturday I joined the groom and some of the groomsmen/ushers to shop for tuxes. We are at the four month mark til our big day! This is usually the time to start looking for what your groom and groomsmen will wear. I was not expecting so many different combos with tuxes! They had several color combos and different jackets the guys could choose from. We did a lot of mix and matching. Note: If you are about to go look for suits/tuxes take about 1 to 2 hours of your day reserved for it. Take a look below! Our "models" is the groom himself and our usher/cousin Jay. The many types of jackets in men's wearhouse is crazy, but awesome for a formal event, like a wedding! Look #1 White Jacket & Black Bow Tie Look #2 White Jacket, Black Vest, Black Bow Tie Look #3 White Jacket (different lapel), White Vest, and Black Bow Tie Look #4 White Jacket, Red Bow Tie, Red Hankerchief Look #5 Grey Jacket, Black Bow Tie Look #6 White "Dinner" ...

MMW: pleasant in pink & announcement

Eyes: mark super flip for it in peep wet n wild eyeliner # 886 Lips: Wet n Wild #528A Cheeks: Maybelline Mineral naturally luminous blush in fresh plum For my friend's wedding (click here if you missed the Anglin wedding) I chose to wear pink eye makeup, pink lips and pink cheeks. I thought this would go great with my red dress (click here if you missed my red dress) . This was a very subtle look. Not much on camera, sry! A light color on dark complextion does not do very well for the camera. Overall this was a good look for an afternoon wedding. It was still pretty. I did not want to do a smokey or dark look. That would be more suited for an evening wedding. Lisa's Mark Store will be participating in Crestmont at Ballantyne's Vendor Show! Come out to shop with us. Give the gift of gorgeous! Other vendors: CRYSTYLE LA ,THIRTY-ONE, AVON, PAMPERED CHEF, CREATIVEMEMORIES, ART, POSH, and GIFT BASKETS. Saturday November 12th from 5PM-7PM TTYL! ...

It was soo windy/cold out! Dress: Macy's Jewlery: Kohls Clutch: Rugged Wearhouse Remember when you were a kid and you had a costume (or outfit) that you loved? You would sleep in it and never want to take it off. Or you would pick it out every day to wear? Well, If I could wear this dress everyday- I would totally! By far my fave dress. I love how it looks. The color. The way it drapes. EVERYTHING. BTW I found this the week before the wedding. If you missed the Anglin wedding click here . How lucky! What was your fave outfit/costume?
