It's been a crazy time here at our home. Souwan and I have been battling with sinus and bronchitis sickness. I think i'm losing my voice too. kiengkham's korner: music at the mural

My husband and I started our Saturday very early at a couple of yard sales and the farmer's market in downtown. It was my first time going to a yard sale rather having one. It is a lot of fun just driving around and finding a great deal! We found some great items. Some of the items we purchased had not even been used!     My friend invited me to her daughter's first ballet recital. She was adorable! She danced as a snowflake. How cute right?! I wasn't able to take pictures, but we got to meet up at the end of the show.     Souwan took me downtown for date night. We attended the music at the mural event and listened to some oldies, but goodies. It was a beautiful night out. People of all ages out to enjoy the music. The adults enjoyed beer while the kids enjoyed Italian ice. I enjoyed my can of Sprite! LOL.   Our coupon haul this week consisted of wipes, diapers, toothbrushes, ranch dressing, loreal shampoo, oreo cooki...

kiengkham's korner: weekly photos

My husband purchased a new toy again. He purchased a gas cultivator/tiller. He tried to till the garden by hand for 20 minutes but saw little progress. We decided to go ahead with purchasing a gas tiller. It worked faster and was a lot easier for my husband. This was something we talked about purchasing for some time and we decided not to wait. We made a much larger garden this year. My husband and I learned a lot from our small garden last year and wanted to try a bigger project. I planted the corn Souwan's mom gave us, sun flowers, string beans, squash, cabbage and lettuce. I was tired and so very sore! I had to let Souwan handle the rest of the garden. A bigger project is a lot more work! I hope it will be very rewarding and we will see lots of delicious veggies!   I am planting the corn seeds Souwan's mom gave us here.     Our yard is looking good for the Spring. I love our yard this time of year! It looks it's best. I get a lot of...

On Good Friday we went to Sonic for the 8pm special on milkshakes. The strawberry cheesecake milkshake is my favorite! We purchased a selfie stick and had to goof around.     We hope yall had a Happy Easter! We had an Easter egg hunt at our church and it was a very nice day. A lot of fun for the kids and we raised money for our charities.     I went on a shopping spree. Ha..a different kind. We bought a ton of vegetable plants for our garden. We learned a lot last year and hope to make a bigger/better garden this year.      Me and my better half in our Sunday best. We went to church on Sunday for a good Easter service and I had a Easter Sunday School class. A great day! It was so nice out!     Easter Lily     Date Night at the movies. It's been so long since we enjoyed a movie. Souwan took me to see Cinderella. I liked it very much. I like how they did not go to far...
