wedding wednesday: wolfpack weekend

This weekend the fiance went on his bachelor gateway to Charlottesville, VA. The guys started their weekend off by stopping at a local hot spot called Beer Run for breakfast.  Souwan had the El Bombero Breakfast Burrito with a side of Free Range Bacon and Organic Drip Coffee.  If you are looking for specialty or craft beer and awesome FOOD look no further then Beer Run.  For lunch the guys went to another local favorite gathering place called Bodo's Bagel.  Here Souwan ate Pastrami with Lettuce, Mayo, Avocado and Provolone Cheese on an Everything Bagel with a Cesar Side Salad.  They have the BEST bagels here! Better than Eintstein.  Dinner was at home with a surf and turf menu.  After breakfast at Beer Run, the guys took a detour through the Shenandoah National Park to take in the breathtaking view and fresh air. First stop on the winery and brewery tour was Veritas Vineyard & Winery.  Veritas allows you to take in the beauty of the Blue Ridge, which is all around.

outfit of the day: cool blue

what i wore: DIY top (thanks mom!), N/A shorts, elephant and heart charm necklace gift from mom, charming charlie rose gold watch, payless sandals   My mom has been helping me learn to sew. She made this blouse and it's inspiring me to create my own pieces. I've made two skirts and on my way to make more! Still learning a lot. Hope to post them up soon. It's been terrible weather.   Have a nice week and be safe this Memorial day weekend!!

Atlantis

My cousin Jay had his senior prom. His friends met at the local park to take prom photos. Since two schools were having prom, the park was filled with students. It was fun to watch all the young ladies and gentlemen in their prom attire. I saw some pretty cool dresses and daper young men in their tuxes. A trend that I noticed was glitter/sequins and cowgirl boots. It was fun to see it all.   The weather did not work well for the girls. It started to rain, luckily we were finished. The girls had to pull out their umbrella to cover their hair.   I went to preview the prom. The theme was Atlantis. I was impressed with the details of the decor! They did an awesome job. A submarine window wall painting displayed fish swimming by projection. The dance floor lit up in multi colors. Tables had fishnet and real fish as centerpieces. Beverage table was dressed up as a sunken ship, candy tables on top of coral reefs, and a fun photobooth! I really enjoyed walking through the preview.

last hurrah: hard rock cafe (bachelorette weekend finale)

I had so much fun this past weekend at Beach Cove Resort. (check out the last two posts) After enjoying the day at the beach and pool, the girls took me out to eat at Hard Rock Cafe. The restaurant was shaped in a pyramid and inside had egyptian themed decor. We dined on burgers, steaks, and sandwhiches. I adore their burger. The girls surprised me with a shout out from the entire Hard Rock staff and guests. Take a moment to watch the small snippet of that below. My friend Katie also bought me a shot of tequila, it was awesome! We had a great time! Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed my bachelorette photos. The day is getting closer, only 21 more days. Can't wait to celebrate with all my friends and family!
