{excuse my half smile-im sooo full!} On Wednesday after work Souwan and I stopped by Pho Real in Charlotte, NC. If you are familiar with the area, they are located in the university area. Pho Real serves Vietnamese dishes, the most known dish is pho. Souwan and I had a bowl of pho. Pho is a hot noodle {made from rice} soup served with beef or chicken. What is interesting about Pho Real is you can create your very own bowl. There is a variety of garnishes for the soup. You can add basil, lime juice, bean sprout, tripe, meatball, shrimp, octopus, jalopeno and more. In my bowl of pho I had beef, tripe, meatball combo. For flavor I added lime, sirachi, bean sprout, hoison sauce and jalopenos. At home, I like to add chili sauce, vinegar and cilantro with all of the above. My soup is always hot and sour.
