Universal Studios Harry Potter World

Last month we were in Florida and I blogged our visit to Magic Kingdom however I didn't blog our other part of the trip at Universal. Right after we got back from Florida we were in the car heading to Alabama for a wedding. I finally get time out of our busy schedule to post these photos!

It was a gorgeous day at Universal and we had so much excitement for this part of our trip. We have been waiting a while to visit the Harry Potter world! As we entered the park there was a lot of guests already in there and stopping to get breakfast at the many different restaurants. I heard a lot of different shows happening while walking through the park. I turned at one point and saw Marilyn Monroe "filming" a scene.

We spent the first bit of the day in Diagon Alley, Ollivander's and riding a couple of roller coasters there. We purchased wands and had a blast being wizards for the day! We also had lunch at the Leaky Cauldron where we tried pumpkin juice. There were spots everywhere for Butter beer too. Which was really good!

The second half of our day, we went through the 9 3/4 platform to get on board the Hogwarts Express!! This was by far my favorite part! Especially walking through the platform. It made it so magical!!! We took the train to Hogsmeade. In hogsmeade we visited a couple of shops. We used the owl carrier to send postcards to our family! We watched a couple different shows from the Hogwarts students. Souwan and Lee rode a couple more rollercoasters while I got to shop at the emporium.

If you have been to US then you know there are not very many toddler rides. There are 4 in the entire park. We took Haylee to enjoy the last few hours at Suess Landing, which was Dr. Seuss themed. She got to ride 2 of the rides there. She really loved One Fish Two Fish ride because of the fish squirting water at us during the ride. She couldn't stop giggling!

Enjoy the photos!

outfit of the day: outdoor fall look

what i wore: gap long sleeve top, target jeggings and boots, belk's bag   I wore this to my cousin's birthday party. It was a lovely fall day, sunny and perfect cool weather for a game of corn hole. We also had lunch and drinks out on their patio. This outfit was great for the outdoor activities and a birthday gathering.     Thank you for reading. Have a lovely rest of the week!

outfit of the day: casual denim shorts and sperry's

what i wore: cynthia rowley tee, american eagle shorts, thrifted belt, juicy couture bracelet, belk's charm bracelet, old navy aviator shades, sperry's top-sider boat shoes. I wore this out for a few errands with the fiance. My car battery needed replacing, I have worn that thing out. Ex. leaving it on while taking naps during lunch. Don't do this ladies. Ha! This look is so comfy and definitely a repeat when I'm running around town.

outfit of the day: classic vest

what i wore: express button up, old navy vest, f21 jeans, gift boots.   Classic pieces stay for a lifetime. I have had this vest for a long time. Traditional yet in style. Not popular, but likable. A little bit of old fashion and tradition may not be popular, may go back "50 years" but this vest seems to never fade out of style for me.
