Thanks to all my loved ones

Thanksgiving this year was different. My family decided to join the black friday crowd and went to Concord Mills at midnight. Concord Mills is an outlet mall in Concord, NC. We also went to line up at Target in hopes of an LCD tv. No luck at Target, there were only 15 and over 1000 people waiting. The mall was more luck with us getting clothes and shoes 50% off. We got home around 5am only to get up and join the smarter black friday crowd who slept in and still recieved deals. Thanksgiving is always a time to eat a lot of food, watch football; discuss algebra and stocks? Well thats our Thanksgiving anyways. The family also got to meet Som's new girlfriend Dina. Her and her mother comes from Germany.

Christmas House Lighting

The holidays are just around the corner. It is my favorite time because family/friends all come together and there is some peace and love for one another. Souwan and I did early Christmas shopping we started in October and we are almost done. We start early to make sure we are not caught in the crowds and spread out the money so that we can get our loved ones gifts. Also we start the Christmas music and movies early to get us in the spirit. Now Thanksgiving is almost here and right after, all of the Christmas decor goes up in our home. I love both holidays and I could not pick one. I love this time of year! My brother and Souwan worked on lights this weekend. We bought 18 boxes of lights. They are rope lights that you can find at Wal-Mart or any store really. We purchased them from Wal-Mart because after shopping in so many different stores we found that Wal-Mart offered the best deal on them. The guys put the lights this weekend because it was nice weather here. The temperature was ...

Carolina Panthers vs New Orleans Saints 2010

Souwan and I had the opportunity to join our friends at a Panthers vs Saints game at the Bank of America stadium, home to the Carolina Panthers. It was a very cold day for the afternoon game; since Souwan and I had never been to a game we did not prepare for that. During the game we grabbed coffee to keep us warm and cheered along with the crowd for defense. The crowd we sat with never seemed to loose hope in their team. At the stadium it was Military appreciation day. During halftime they honored the military by playing the songs of each branch. Men from each branch were there to represent their own. Also a silent march took place by the Summerall Guards from The Citadel. They are named for General Charles Pelot Summerall, 10th president of the Citadel. The march has been passed down from class to class and has never been written down. They were very impressive! The game did not end well for the Panthers. The final score was 34-3.

Fun at the Granite Lake Park

Souwan and I decided to go have photos taken at the park. Self timer is the greatest. Enjoy! Also if you were wondering about my look: Dress was from Khols, hair by Moi (me), & makeup is Mark!

Lori & Ryan Curran

My friends Lori and Ryan have become husband and wife. Lori was my first friend at Johnson & Wales University. I was blessed to meet her and her now husband Ryan. Lori even set my boyfriend and I up and we have been together for 5 1/2 years. The college years with these two were the best memories I have of college. I'm thankful that we got to be a part of their big day. If anyone knows love it is these two. I was very happy to see them get married. It was a very beautiful wedding at the Embassy Suite hotel in Charlotte, NC on November 6th 2010. I wish Lori & Ryan a lifetime of happiness together! Congrats!! After the beautiful wedding, I was going down Memory lane...  Lori & Ryan again congratulations! I hope to have many more memories to come with the both of you. I love you guys.
