In May, we started the summer off to a great start. Souwan and I did a lot of yard work. We added tons of mulch, planted flowers and started a vegetable garden. We attended a great Kentucky Derby party at the Kilted Buffalo. Souwan and I got out to the lake to watch the Dragon Boat Festival. Then, we traveled out to the coast for my cousin Tom's graduation at East Carolina University. In June, we celebrated our first anniversary as husband and wife at the beach. We enjoyed boardwalk at the beach, swimming and the sun time. Souwan had a blast at the car show in our downtown. Our friend Allison treated us to ice cream at her favorite new shop. Our garden vegetables were growing very nicely in June. Our first garden did great! Can't wait to plant more vegetables for the fall. We're wrapping up our summer in July. It's not over yet!
