I hope everyone has an exciting weekend! I plan on relaxing after New Year's Eve celebrations. Did you see the last post on New Year's? I've got some home projects in mind, but we will see if I can get out of bed! I got a roku for Christmas and have been obsessed with it! Roku is a movie streaming box that also streams a few tv series. It also streams hulu and netflix. Most of it is free! I have already watched Korean/Thai dramas, anime and my new favorite is duck dynasty. It's a really funny show! My husband and I adore Willie and Jase's brotherly relationship. If you want to hear more about Roku, message me and maybe I will put a blog post up. So it will probably be a low key weekend. Anyways, here are my favorites: I adore everything about her look! Happy Friday! It's been a good day. I got stuck in traffic and was hours late to work, but on the flip side I got to spend time with some great kids painting pumpkins! I'm looking forward to the weekend with my family and looking at the fall foilage. Something tells me it's going to be a fun weekend!   What I wore: American Eagle button up, Ann Taylor palm printed skirt, shoe show sandals, thrifted bag, Icing bracelets, Caniche bracelet, starfish earrings are from a surf shop from Isle of Palms.   This skirt is an early birthday gift. It was on sale for $10 at Ann Taylor. A great deal! I adore the palm print. It's fitting because it still is summer. I kept the rest of the outfit simple and subdued because the print is the attention grabber. I went for a beach theme with my accessories. I was inspired with the color shades of yellow. I think this color is definately a trend for spring/summer 2012. Don't cout this color out for your wardrobe! I'm in love with the blazer and shorts. Of course I can't afford much of these items, however take it as inspiration to go out and get yellow colors! Hopefully next week I will be back with outfit posts. Dress: Target Blazer: American Eagle Sandals: Some place in Charleston, SC What I find nerve wracking (what makes me sick to the stomach) is being center of attention or in the spotlight. I know! This blog is all me. But in front of the camera, to me is another story. I cannot explain how I can get in front of a camera, but not a crowd of people. Even with those close to me being in the audience. Lately I have been in the "spotlight" - all eyes on me. I dislike this so much and it puts me in discomfort. One time I got on stage to sing- because my little brother asked me to do it for him - I froze, ran off stage, scarred for life. In a pageant at a young age, I wanted to cry my eyes out, my mother reminded me what I was doing it for-charity. Now again, for charity, I must face my fear. It is for charity and supporting a good cause. That is all I have to remind myself. I'm sacrificing my comfort zone for the good cause!!
