weekend in Isle of Palms

Hope you all had a fun weekend. We sure did! As you can tell by the pics we were at the beach. It was a nice getaway and super fun with some cousins of mine. The water was warm, sand was everywhere on our things, frisbee was not happening but we still enjoyed every bit of it.

while he was away...

The fiancee left me for a whole week! This is where he was for the past week. He was in Denver, CO for a business trip so not vacay or play time. There were meetings, greetings and business dinners in his schedule so we spent time texting and talking over the phone. He had a good time. He met some nice co-workers, sightseeing, and good eating! He was in a different time zone, when I was getting ready for bed he was getting ready for dinner. I'm glad to be back with him. It's been tough without him. I'm so happy he's back and I don't want him to ever leave again!

biltmore {finale}

The roses and the conservatory were the last bit of this Biltmore garden tour. The Biltmore has many gardens and we visited just two parts. It was very beautiful. I loved the roses and the hydrageas most! I had no idea how many different roses there were until I saw the rose garden. I fell in love!

Biltmore {part 2}

More awesome pictures from my trip to Asheville, North Carolina. We took a hike thru the Biltmore forest. I'm so serious. I had no idea what I was in for. The Biltmore has woods to hike?!? It's beautiful, but sooo long. This week I've been occupied with : watching the Bachlorette and Glee registering for my wedding! ^^ It still feels surreal. Hope you're having a good one!

The Biltmore {part 1}

(click image to enlarge any photo above) After our engagement we went on vaction for a couple of days to Asheville, North Carolina. It is in the mountain (west) part of North Carolina. This destination is for the adventure and nature seeking person. Exactly the opposite of myself! I was a little stressed to arrive here. I'm not an outdoorsy girl. Being around all this forestry and nature made me very apprehensive. It turned out well. We visited the Biltmore, home of the Vanderbilt-Cecil family. The Biltmore is breath taking. It is probably the closest I will be to a chateau in my life. Hopefully I will change that last statement. I love French -Europe arcitecture. This is also the largest home in America. You could seriously get lost in this home.

georgia aquarium: dolphin tales (finale)

I finally am posting the Georgia Aquarium visit! I have a video, but I will have to work on that more. The last was Dolphin Tales. It was a live show with dolphins and theatric performers. The dolphins were my favorite of all. They did flips, spins, body waves and jumps. They were so talented!! I loved it. We were not allowed to take photos or video of the show, so here are pictures of the dolphins after the show. Yes we got backstage passes, haha just kidding. The dolphins have an exhibit they go into after their show.

birthday series the finale!

The last of the series! Are we sad? I was! Charleston was so amazing for my birthday. I hope you all enjoyed the pictures. I took over 800+. Too many to share. If you are ever in South Carolina -Charleston is a must stop and see. It is way too gorgeous. I cannot resist history and art. And if you cannot then you must see Charleston. Thank you again everyone for making my 25th birthday special! I got an overwhelming amount of love and it meant a lot to me. So cheesy, but so true. Funny story. This past Friday my boys (cousins are majority boys) came over for movie night and surprised me with Oreo cookie cake. Some of them did not get to celebrate with me. Get this...one slice has 760 calories! O-M-G. I was like "nooo don't do this to me" LOL. Ok well that was my weak moment. Thank you Thank you all. =) We visited Patriots Pointe and Fort Sumter on the last day. Fort Sumter is significant in the Civil war. The first shots were fired from Fort Sumter. Of course Fort Sumter...
