outfit of the day: fancied tweed

what I wore:   Turtleneck: ( similar ) Tweed Skirt & Tights: Ann Taylor Boots: ( similar ) Eyeglasses: ( similar )   Tweed and Fall go hand in hand. The vertical leather accent on this tweed skirt gives this classic style skirt and instant edge. I matched it up with these faux leather boots. I think the leather and cat eye details plays with classic style and trendy.   Thanks for stopping by!

outfit of the day: caftan chevron

What I wore: Chevron Top: ( similar ) Jeggings: Target Pearl Cluster Necklace: ( similar ) Boots: ( similar ) I love the chevron pattern. This pattern is very fun and sort of edgy. Yet I can still stay classic with this look. Next time, I'd love to play this pattern up with a colored bottom. The shirt is not form fitting and is a very light material. I enjoy letting loose! I was excited to pair this statement pearl necklace with such an edgy top. I think they play together nicely! These boots are not made for walking, however they are cute booties to wear in the fall time. What would you wear with a chevron top like this?

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday! It's been a good day. I got stuck in traffic and was hours late to work, but on the flip side I got to spend time with some great kids painting pumpkins! I'm looking forward to the weekend with my family and looking at the fall foilage. Something tells me it's going to be a fun weekend! Here are my favorites:  Favorite necklace: this is an amazing statement necklace!  (source citrusrefreshingfashion)   Favorite place: I love fall time here on the East Coast. Especially Blue Ridge! It's magical. (source blue ridge Facebook page) Favorite Scarf: I am adoring this plaid scarf and pretty much everything plaid! (source instagram)   Favorite vest: This herringbone vest is so cute and a fall staple. (source welovepreppy) Favorite mani: This Halloween mani is perfect for Halloween. (source: thatsheart)

Happy Friday All! Fall is showing here on the East coast. The weather is more cooler and I can see the foliage! I hear there is a Renaissance Festival, State Fair, Apple picking and Balloon Festival in plans for some of you. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend. My plans involve working on home projects. I am excited to work on those and post them up here soon! Here are my favorites this week... Favorite shoes: These Tory Burch loafers are so adorable for the Fall. My favorite fall shoe for sure! outfit of the day: work wear

What I wore:   H&M Cardigan Ann Taylor Loft blouse Express pants Kohl's necklace Gifted earrings Payless wedges N/A sunglasses

outfit of the day: last of summer

Outfit Details: Dress- Ann Taylor Cardigan- BCBG Monogram Necklace & Pearls- Gifts Sandals- Shoe Show Fall is here, however I wanted to share one last summer outfit! It's still 90 degrees outside, so boots and scarves would be a bit out of place right now. I totally broke out the boots this past week though! I am ready for fall weather, but mother nature does not agree with me. This time of year on East Coast is an awkward transition. Coats in the morning, but tees in the afternoon type of awkward. I am looking forward the cooler days to come. I am jealous of all the instagram ladies who have been dressing in plaid scarves or J.Crew's excursion vests.

outfit of the day: back to school

What I wore: Gifted dress & headband Caniche infinity necklace (gifted) Kmart flats Louis Vuitton bag (gifted) Francesca's collection earrings (gifted) Charming Charlie rose gold watch North Carolina Tar Heels tumbler Lily Pulitzer note pad (gifted)    A lot of you are going back to school (I'm not) so I wanted to share a back to school look and some tips/ideas. If you dislike mornings (like I do) having coffee in hand makes for a happier and studious student. Having your good friends in class is essential. You can lean on them for homework, studying, and projects. Also, after your morning class you and your friends can have breakfast or even go out for a sushi lunch. Stay away from friends who are a bad influence. They can influence you quickly to failing path. Your future is way more important than those friends! Keep sticky notes and stationary with you, note taking is great for getting every detail you need in class....

outfit of the day post: palms print

What I wore: American Eagle button up, Ann Taylor palm printed skirt, shoe show sandals, thrifted bag, Icing bracelets, Caniche bracelet, starfish earrings are from a surf shop from Isle of Palms.   This skirt is an early birthday gift. It was on sale for $10 at Ann Taylor. A great deal! I adore the palm print. It's fitting because it still is summer. I kept the rest of the outfit simple and subdued because the print is the attention grabber. I went for a beach theme with my accessories. I think it goes well with the palm print.   Thanks for reading!
