It was a extremely warm day in Downtown Salisbury, but thousands showed up to celebrate Cheerwine's 100th birthday on May 20th. There was a huge crowd and turnout for the festivities! I've never seen Salisbury with so many Cheerwine fans. I loved it!!! I love Cheerwine! Cheerwine is definitely a local legend here in our town. If ya didn't know Cheerwine is made here in Salisbury!  I love that they are local and have made such a mark on Salisbury. Cheerwine is definitely a favorite in our household with it's sweet cherry goodness!!! My daughter is only one but loves when I give her a sip of my Cheerwine. She could probably have the whole cup if I let her. We enjoyed the BBQ food trucks! They were great with the free Cheerwine! Our favorite was Nana's Porch. We even voted for them in the BBQ contest. This was our first Fourth of July at our first home. We (Souwan) grilled burgers, chicken and some vegetables from our garden . I made the family one of my favorite salads using the string beans from our garden. After having lunch with my family we watched a little bit of soccer and Nathan's hot dog contest. I was a little disgusted yet amazed these guys can eat all of those.   Souwan and I headed out to spend time in our town for the fourth evening. Souwan joined in spray painting the wall and enjoyed some of our favorite child hood candy from the candy store.   After walking around downtown, we headed over to my friend Chris's family home for an evening of firework and more food with our friends and family. If you have never had the food from the Filipino BBQ at Autumn Jubilee, you are missing out buddy. Great stuff! I wore this outfit to the party. I'm glad I wore pants, mosquitoes crashed the BBQ and basketball game that night. This top was really light and kept me cool from the hot temps we had here. The night was great and filled with good food and fam/friends! Happy Wednesday friends!
