haylee's park adventures

I finally had a moment to sit down and post this. I've collected a lot of photos from our park outings and i'm going to put them all here for ya'll. Haha! Sorry! Our little family goes to the park almost every other weekend. We're there or at the library! I love taking Haylee to the park because she gets to explore more than just the four walls of our home and grandma's home. She is using all of her sensory skills!! This girl loves the swing, drums, and bubbles at the park. I'm not sure she is a fan of the small zoo creatures and train at Dan Nick park yet. She also gets a chance to interact with some other kids, which is really hard for her because she doesn't stay in a daycare. Take a look at the photos & like this post if you want to see more of her adventures!

kiengkham's korner: making it a mountain weekend

This past weekend my husband took me to the mountains. We had a picnic, hiked some small trails, and played football. It was a perfect weekend in the mountains. The mountains are so beautiful this fall season. The foliage has just begun and it's amazing. On another note, we haven't shared our coupon savings in a while. We have reached our savings goal! After careful consideration, Souwan and I are going to hold off on getting a new heat pump and keep the money we have saved. We are continuing to save. Our new goal is to save for a shed, a lawn mower and grass/sod for our yard. On this trip to the store we spent $51.57 for $190.23 in groceries! I was really excited to get the cheddar and bacon potatoes. With the holidays coming up, it will be perfect to feed our guests for Christmas. The halls cough drop is another exciting purchase because of the cold season upon us. Souwan tried the dole smoothie shakers and said they were really good. I can't wait t...

kiengkham's korner: wanted! cornhole tossers

I'm behind on blogging! Souwan and I attended our church's Vespers Service. An evening service at the park with good food and friends. We also had fun playing corn hole and some other park activities.    I lost in corn hole multiple times.   For Memorial weekend we stayed in town. It seemed like everyone left for the beach and we had the whole town! Our family came over for burgers and seafood and then we played in the park. I think it was a great start to our Summer! How was your week/weekend?

outfit of the day: park pair

What I wore: American Eagle gingham button up, Old Navy blue shorts, Payless turquoise wedges, Francesca's Collection aviators, necklace & pearl earrings were a gift What he wore: Green Vineyard Vines polo and blue sandals, Target seersucker shorts   In the spring/summer my husband and I love going to a park. We love getting out of the house to enjoy the outdoors. I adore this parks pond and bridge. We took a stroll and enjoyed lunch on this park adventure.

Kiengkham's Korner: splashes of spring

We grilled out and enjoyed our dinner outside. Souwan and I toasted to 9 years since our first date at Chili's. It was an awesome night with yummy food and made for a wonderful date night. We continued to work on our yard. More planting and yard work coming for the weekends ahead. I got a cool opportunity to capture this bird cooling off in our new bird bath. We spent an afternoon in the park capturing memorable moments with a precious toddler (photos coming soon!). After our photoshoot we hung out in the park with a picnic. That's our week, how's yours?
