My sweet girl turned one month yesterday! Time goes by way too fast! She has grown and changed a lot since we brought her home from the hospital. Of course we documented her one month with a mini photo session. Haylee is one month old. 6.9 lbs - 20 inches She loves: smiling sticking her tongue out sleeping with her mouth open holding your finger warm baths sleeping at night for 4 hours family and friends her pacifier sound of heavy rain snuggling and cuddling her bouncer/rocker/swing stroller walks and car rides She hates: diaper changes selfies her bassinet naps in the daytime gassy belly At one month Haylee is cooing and grunting, lifting her head for a minute here and there, rolling onto her side, grabbing fingers and mommy's hair, smiling, working on her crawling (kicking her legs and moving) Watch this video of Haylee Marie doing tummy time, having hiccups, and her first bath!

This weekend the fiance went on his bachelor gateway to Charlottesville, VA. The guys started their weekend off by stopping at a local hot spot called Beer Run for breakfast.  Souwan had the El Bombero Breakfast Burrito with a side of Free Range Bacon and Organic Drip Coffee.  If you are looking for specialty or craft beer and awesome FOOD look no further then Beer Run.  For lunch the guys went to another local favorite gathering place called Bodo's Bagel.  Here Souwan ate Pastrami with Lettuce, Mayo, Avocado and Provolone Cheese on an Everything Bagel with a Cesar Side Salad.  They have the BEST bagels here! Better than Eintstein.  Dinner was at home with a surf and turf menu.  After breakfast at Beer Run, the guys took a detour through the Shenandoah National Park to take in the breathtaking view and fresh air. I have been on a hiatus for some time. (explanation: I had put too much on my plate and exhausted myself) I wanted to give all of you an update/pics on what I have been up to. I did keep all of you in mind ^_^. I met up with some old college friends for a housewarming party. It had been a long time since spending time with them. It was so nice to catch up with all of them and be nostalgic. Dina came down to visit. While she was here we did a lot of junk food eating and went to a club/bar. It made me aware of my age. I cannot do this on a daily basis. College days are behind me. Instead I have traded dancing in heels and shots for chilling on the couch drinking a glass of wine. Much more my speed. Happy Friday! Hope you all had a great week. It's certainly getting busy as we get closer to the end of the year. I'm hoping to finish the rest of my shopping this weekend and finish with the gift wrap too. My friend Dina came in town yesterday evening!!! Yay!!! I'm so excited to have her visiting. We will be spending the weekend shopping, eating German food (she's German ya know?!) , observing Christmas lights, watching movies and all sorts of girlie fun stuff. Have a terrific weekend!
