Kiengkham's Korner: scrumptious coconut cake!

My girlfriend shared her grandma's coconut cake and we made a pretty scrumptious one! It's a heart attack waiting to happen kind of cake, but it's so good! I'm definitely going to make it again. Our coupon haul is smaller this week. Before coupons = $32.05 After coupons = $7.72! More savings for our heat pump and Disney 2015 trip! Last year I learned to sew a few things. I have a break for the fourth of July so I'm working on more sewing projects. This week's garden update. I am going to use them in my Thai salad for the fourth of July with my family. Our gladiolus flowers are blooming so beautifully, they give our yard a tropical look. I'm loving it!

The best friends who tolerated my tipsy antics. The interrupted dorm nights running amuck. The days we spent at school competitions. The nights studying endlessly. Ahem, "studying" nights that may have turned to nights on Myspace and AOL. If you were my professor, (and reading this) then we absolutely were not on Myspace! The nights celebrating and laughing perpetually. They are the friend's who know me, but still love me after 10 years. After 10 years on...
