Kiengkham's Korner: hello there

Here's what you missed...   Our lovely church family gave Haylee a baby shower!     We went to the Outer Banks with family for a whole week! It was so much fun. We visited the Wright's Brother memorial, Jockey's Ridge Sand Dunes, Bodie Island Light house and hung out at the beach all week. I'll add more pics to facebook, be on the lookout for those.     Haylee at 34 weeks! She's doing great and the little spot on her heart has disappeared and she is 4 pounds!     Our family gave Haylee a shower with tons of food and gifts. It was so great to see all of the family! Everyone cannot wait to meet her.   It was a great day in the park for the shower. Thank you Nye Noona for the pictures!   We got to visit Daniel Stowe's Botanical Garden. My favorite parts were the water fountains, butterflies, and orchids.     We celebrated the fourth of July with our friends watching firewor...

I'm 28 today!

Today I am 28! After having a seafood lunch with my family at home, my husband and friend spent the day shopping and lounging in Myrtle Beach.   My family and friends have made this a very special birthday for me, thank you! our favorite moments from Edisto Island

For my three readers.... you guys thought I fell off the face of the planet. I'm very sorry. I have been trying very hard to post. My husband is my witness. Along with this, I struggle wanting to post all 300 photos, but I won't do that to you! This month we have so many trips, and oh... the job (sad face). I'm still working overtime to put away in savings. I'm not planning on purchasing a luxurious trip to Paris ( I wish!), however my husband and I are saving to purchase a heat pump. And it doesn't hurt to save in case we get canned.... hahahaha! I pray that doesn't happen. Our trip (seems like many moons ago, actually Labor Day) to Charleston and Edisto Island photos are finally posted. This is a trip we take every year, and it's my favorite place! Here are my favorite moments from the trip, check it out... Crabbin in Edisto     Shopping on Meeting Street     Waterfront Park     Battery Park ...

wedding wednesday: last hurrah at beach cove resort pool

For my bachlorette, we took off to Beach Cove Resort, Myrtle Beach this past weekend. This is the second post, following yesterday. (Check it out, if you haven't) The second part of my trip, the girls and I went to Beach Cove Resort's pools. They had various pools, 4 pools, 3 hot tubs, and 1 lazy river. The pools were heated too! In May the water is still cool, so this was perfect for us. We even enjoyed their beach bar and grill. With the small band playing oldies and various pools to jump in, this was amazing. At night, we continued a night swim (older gals had some alcoholic beverages) and relaxed in the hot tubs. This is a different way to celebrate your bachelorette party, but I enjoyed this very much!

last hurrah: beach cove resort

I took off to Beach Cove Resort, Myrtle Beach for my last hurrah! (Bachelorette Party) My Cousins and best friends went with me to celebrate. We spent the ride down there munching on Hardee's, jammin to country, counting down the miles til our destination. Beach Cove Resort was spectacular! We were able to check in earlier to our suite on the 9th floor. The girls all ran to the balcony to check out our view. We saw 4-5 pools, 3 hot tubs, a lazy river, and a beach bar/grill! The weather was 82 and partly cloudy. We changed into our bathing suits and hit the beach first. *** Stay tuned all this week for more photos from my bachelorette weekend!!
