snaps from charleston

BEACH FARMERS MARKET WATERFRONT PARK I am going to catch up on all of your blog posts that I have missed. In case you have not heard from me I have been in Charleston. It was my last hoorah for the summer time. Now i'm officially ready for sweaters, boots, smores over the fire, snow, and colder weather! How about you?

birthday series part 3

Mahi Wrap. Yum! Coconut Shrimp   Pina Colada After Boone Hall we went to the beach. Instead of going to Folly we chose something new. We went to Isle of Palms. It was really nice! A lot more commercial than Folly. It had better parking access too. Folly parking can be a disaster. I will def be going back. Hopefully with my fam or Souwan's next time. Wish we knew to go to this beach with S, Kim and Souwan's fam. Sighs. Next time! All of us had lunch at Joe's right on the beach. It was a great day to sit on the patio to eat. After we walked around in the sand a bit. Then we went to Waterfront to hang out before going to dinner at AW Shucks. At shucks they had a great pina colada. I preferred it over Joe's pina colada. I was exhausted after everything! That ended day two of the birthday celebration. The next day we went out to see the Angel Oak tree. The tree is over 1000 years old. It is a spectacular tree! The limbs are the size of me and bigger. Go check ...

vlog: charleston trip

There were MILLIONS of pictures in my blog from my trip to Charleston, South Carolina . Now there is a video! I thought this place is too pretty not to show you guys some footage. Also some awkward, silly, fun moments with my family and Souwan's. I don't really do vlogs or video entries of myself/life. If this goes well I will get the courage to do more. I'm horrible at public speaking even when it's just myself and a camera ha! Wierd, because I love to talk. Anyway enjoy guys! Here is the link just in case it doesn't play on here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WCFpg_eqIQ What do you guys think of Charleston, South Carolina? Leave me comments. Follow! ^_^

waterfront park, gelato, and shopping

This is last of our weekend trip! Aren't you sad?! Or maybe like FINALLY. Too many pictures! Ha! On our last day we had fun at Waterfront park. We went to the park at night too and cooled off . The park is so sweet. There is a sweet view of the Cooper River Bridge, water fountains, and swings. After the park we were in the mood for some cold, sweet treats and went to this gelato place near the park. Then spent some time on Market street and Kings street. The girls loved the shopping! We especially enjoyed Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters. Thats it guys! Hope you enjoyed all the pictures. I'm putting video footage together to show you live footage of everything. Even some hilarious/wierd moments with the family.

us custom house and ghost tour!!

After enjoying dinner we had some time to kill. We hung out at the Custom house steps. A lot of people were hanging out on the steps. Some were running. Rocky remake? Ha! The steps attracted me because of Gossip Girl and how they sit on the steps. You're not cool if you don't. LOL. I was so very excited to be going on a tour of Charelston. When I was told it was a Ghost tour I became nervous. I would keep asking "We're just riding around and not going inside any haunted places...RIGHT?!!" I believe in spirits and ghosts. I get goosebumps now just thinking of it. At one stop in front of a grave yard there was screaming in the background. It was NOT planned. The screams made us jump. My fingers dug into Kim at that point. Below are some places that are haunted by ghosts and have had real encounters! One of them is by this man who hung himself after seeing his last bit of cotton crop burn on a ship headed towards England. He was so upset his solution was to hang...
