We hope this is the last of winter! We are ready for Spring and Summer!     Snow cream!     Red Velvet Oreos and Milk....YUMMY!  

Last week we had ice and I was able to capture a little bit of it.  Ice is never fun to drive in. Souwan and I were not able to drive to work.  Souwan worked from his laptop and I watched tons of talk shows. It snowed today. We got about a two inches, but it didn't cover the roads too bad. I was able to go to work, but the traffic was awful. It made me want to turn around and go back home. We saw about 5 accidents on the way to work. The snow was really pretty to watch fall and wake up to, however a nightmare to drive in. We're due for more snow Wednesday and Thursday. It will be a great sight to see, but nightmare for those who work.

It's history! LOL I know people are laughing about this. But I can now say I have experienced an earthquake. I would never thought an earthquake would be one of my experiences in life. Being that I live on the east coast, we are more known for tornadoe and hurricane disasters. I did have some friends in VA and were thinking of them. If I felt it here (hours away) from VA, how was it in their shoes? It was an interesting day for us at the office. We were not fortunate enough to be evacuated, but it was the talk of the day. Oh -let me tell you that we were not prepared for an earthquake. So if there is a next time- we may be in lots of trouble. I mean what do you do during an earthquake??? We here on the east coast only know tornado and hurricane emergency protocals! What a ...

This past weekend it poured like cats & dogs. The rain gave us a reason to sit in and watch tv for a little. It was very peaceful. My mom loves when it rains. She does not have to water all of the plants. In her garden there is a pond full of water lilies. Water lilies are favored by her and myself.  In the evening they close and sunrise they bloom. They also remind me of the famous painting by Monet. He painted some beautiful water lilies and the name of it is water lilies, duh. Ha! Tomorrow is FRIDAY! My plans are to stay home and watch movies ALL weekend long. I have stocked up on some movies too. I'm tempted to break my own goal and go see Ryan Reynolds in Green Lantern. Ryan is dreamy. Ha!

Its been rainy here this weekend. Rain is good for the garden. Hopefully the tulips will start blooming! Although we have been getting 80 degree weather, it gets chilly at times. It was pretty chilly out this weekend. We keep all of the plants inside during the winter. The plants will be planted out in the garden very soon. Rainy and chilly is the time to say in. During rainy weather I like to stay in and lounge around watching lots of tv. That can be a good thing for my pocket. No outing means no spending monies.We stayed in and watched rented movies.
