    what I wore: Caniche blouse and bracelet, Old Navy shorts, Shoe Show sandals, and gifted earrings and gold bracelet   A twist on a nautical look. I'm probably going overboard on the stripes, but it is definitely my favorite look for summer time! My husband took me out on a date. He took me for a downtown stroll in the evening. I love our downtown, historic and cute boutiques! We stopped by boutiques, antique shop, candy shop and an old bookstore. He even got me the top i'm wearing in today's outfit. After we enjoyed listening to a band, the ultimate eagles tribute band. Dress: Belk's Belt: Thrift Boots: Gift Jewelry: Touch of Glamour  I wore this dress back in October to a wedding. An interesting way to bring this back for a casual look is to pair it with a belt and boots. This is different from any other pictures I have taken. FYI, there was some playing around with software/technology. I am terrible with technology. This is me, trying to learn. Please share any helpful tips! In this photo I removed the background. Before it was just white drapery. On another note: The bf and I had a fun date at home this past weekend. We stayed in watching The Big Bang Theory and made pizza. We did a his and her pizza (split the pizza crust in half because both were wanting different types of pizza)  and it turned out delicious. In a relationship there has to be compromise! 

This was a great night. Good talk, food & shopping. It was a good way to end the work week. Souwan had a fun day at work. It was April Fool's day. A major day to pull pranks/jokes. {Word of advice, don't pull one on someone who can't take a joke.} Souwan and his co-workers put a sign up on the printer/copier machine advising that it was now voice activated. I can just see the frustration on someone yelling at the printer/copier 1 COPY! 1 COPPPPYYYYY! Too funny! Great job to Souwan and his co-workers for pulling off such a hilarious prank.

Weekends are harder to post blogs. Friday I had a friend's birthday and a date with Souwan. For date night we had pizza, wine, and a movie from redbox. Such a fun time. On Saturday was the BIG game Carolina vs Duke. Huge rivals guys! HUGE. Earlier in the week my friend and I made a bet. If  Duke were to win I would have to add {gulp} Duke colors to my wardrobe and come into work wearing it. I loved the idea of shopping and going out in style. Ha! I was glued to the television with hands clapping and waving in the air. There might of been some happy dancing,fist pumps, and nail biting too. Ha! Carolina is the ACC regular season champs!! Dear Carolina, thanks for smashing those Dukies. Ok now thats said we can go on. Not going to lie, you may hear me say it again. Happy weekend friends.

Boyfriend and I treated ourselves to take out dinner from Top China. {We had wonton soup and sweet/sour chicken} This restaurant is located in our hometown Salisbury. It was my first job EVER. I was the waitress, cashier, & cook. During my employment it was trial and error with me. This was not a job I was suited for. Anything that could go wrong, DID. My job ended after six months. My old boss still adores me though!  The chinese food is the best in Salisbury. After dinner we watched the movie Gnomeo & Juliet. It is a cute cartoon spin of Shakespere's Romeo & Juliet. The gnomes in the two gardens are rivals and will do anything to protect their beautiful gardens from each other. When a lawn mower threatens and destroys both gardens; Gnomeo and Juliet helps bring the two families to an understanding. This movie is really cute and funny. I love the frog!
