visit to Wat Praznamit

Our family visited Wat Praznamit for a laotion ceremony/ tradition when a person passes away. I am not familiar with the ceremony, however it is a beautiful part of the culture. I grew up in a church, however my parents wanted to still teach me the culture and include me in another community.

weekend celebrations

This past weekend my hubby and I went to Wat Buddharam. My mom's friends became monks (for a day). An honorable gesture for a family member. My hubby did this back in January.     After the day at the temple, we travelled to see Souwan's cousins in Troy for a duo birthday party. A Mickey and Minnie mouse theme (Disney cartoon characters). It was such a cute themed party! A very playful and fun evening.     The birthday duo!     Thanks for reading & stopping by!
