glamping

Our New Years Eve we went out to eat sushi with our family and then came home for some indoor "camping" fun. Which I like to say glamping! It's too cold outside right now for camping here and because i'm not fond of being outdoors after dark lol. I love the idea of camping, and I've always wanted to try camping, but I feel the kind of camping I would like to do would get expensive. One of the goals for 2017, which I forgot to share in that long list, is to pay off one large debt. We have decided to take on the smallest debt. Anyhoo, i'll go into more details in a later blog. For this blog post, we went glamping! It's very easy to do, no cost at all and any kid will love this! I did this as a kid with my cousins, but with couch cushions. playtime in the park

I had the pleasure of capturing these precious photos at the park. I think these little ones made me laugh the entire session! I had such a wonderful time with these kids. Take a look at their photos.

In tune with nature

My cousin and I spent the afternoon at the park. She let me capture a few photos of her for practice. I am looking forward to my family photo session soon. My cousin was very sweet to let me use her as my practice model. Isn't she cute?! The weather was perfect for an unplanned photo session!

5 years.

My little cousin turned 5 years old. He is so precious!! Just seeing his face puts a huge smile on my face. This kid is the coolest. He likes playing with leggos and ninjas. And his brother stole my heart. He and I played basketball and soccer. OMG these boys are such happy kids. Their laughter is just contagious. I had so much fun with them for the entire day. I spent lunch and dinner with them. Some of the older folks made pizza. Home made pizza made me nervous, but the result was delicious. Dough does not seem easy to work with. You guys did good. After the party I was sooo full and exhausted. I had a very fun time in Cary with the family!
