Kiengkham's Korner: weekly photos

We spent some time at Crane Creek for a sweet little girl's birthday. It was a really nice day out.     My husband and I visited my Grandma's house. Our Aunt came in from Raleigh and we had some delicious food. Mango and coconut rice is a great treat!     Cousin selfie (and my husband)!     We didn't spend much on coupons this time, but I am glad we purchased diapers and pull ups for our stock!   Before coupons: $47.51 After coupons: $1.26!!!     We are 26 weeks and baby Haylee is the size of a butternut squash. My first sweet craving is strawberries. Last week I ate three boxes of strawberries lol.       I am so excited for our hydrangeas this season. We planted 9 total, but 6 are planted this season. They are starting to bloom.     I planted corn seeds from Souwan's mom. I am glad to see them growing!     My rose...

My husband purchased a new toy again. He purchased a gas cultivator/tiller. He tried to till the garden by hand for 20 minutes but saw little progress. We decided to go ahead with purchasing a gas tiller. It worked faster and was a lot easier for my husband. This was something we talked about purchasing for some time and we decided not to wait. A bigger project is a lot more work! I hope it will be very rewarding and we will see lots of delicious veggies!   I am planting the corn seeds Souwan's mom gave us here.     Our yard is looking good for the Spring. I love our yard this time of year! It looks it's best. I get a lot of...

Over the weekend it was a yard project type of weekend. Souwan woke up early on Saturday with our neighbor to cut down a tree. Don't worry it was far from anyone's home! haha! I didn't capture the tree coming down because the baby and I were still asleep. I did wake up to the clean up process and was so proud of my hubby! Meanwhile, I was inside making breakfast and some coffee for him. I knew he didn't have any yet.   We're planning to use pieces of the tree as sitting area around the fire pit in the backyard. We got the idea from my aunt and uncle. It'll be a nice setting! We just need some friends and family to come roast some smore's with us.     Later on I joined Souwan out in the yard to spread the mulch. This year we got bags from Home Depot. Approx 35 bags of mulch! I think the mulch adds a great curb appeal.     Some of my flowers are coming back!     We bought more flowers for the porch and flower beds in ...
