Davong Marie

It was going to rain and it was very cloudy this Saturday afternoon. The sun tried to peek through the clouds and they passed one by one. It was also very very cold! Right behind me was a couple of blankets to keep warm during little breaks. Allison wanted to start the New Year with "new me" photos. She messaged me about coming in to town and wanted to document (CELEBRATE) this joyful chapter in her life. I was so excited!! I've been trying to get her in front of the camera! I've known her since I was 4 years old. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?! Thank you for putting up with me LOL. I cannot thank her enough for supporting me even before Davong Marie photography. She saw DMP before it was even a thing! She walked into my office with a warm smile and it was just like it was when we were in school except it would be my bedroom and a Kodak camera.  Glad we documented this joyful chapter and I can't wait to have her back again! Such a wonderful way to begin the New Ye...

It was the perfect day for photos on this gorgeous campus. Seriously cannot get enough of this place! I'm so glad we got to come back. This time it was sunny rather than rainy and it looked amazing here. I could sit and gaze at this campus and probably take photos til i dropped. I was so happy Alasia, Alicia and Amari made time for photos during Amari's visit all the way from Virginia! It was so much fun capturing these sisters, there smile and interaction together was contagious! They had me giggling in between shots. Aren't they beautiful girls?! And the sweetest!    

My daughter absolutely enjoys music! She is only 9 months, however she enjoys listening to different sounds. I am always amazed with babies and their new sensory learning. She loves touching, hearing, and tasting. We haven't explored smelling activities. I am incorporating a Montessori home experience for Haylee. I purchased a Disney piano and she has a blast, so when we heard the city put 11 pianos around our town we had to make a family outing! The pianos have different themes and are free to play and are displayed in front of retail stores and restaurants downtown. Take your family! We adored looking at the many different themes. Our favorite was this under the sea themed piano. OF COURSE! Haylee's room is designed/inspired by the Little Mermaid and everything we have for her is too. Haha!
