Hi All, Happy Friday! This weekend is the big game day, Super Bowl! Who is watching? In celebration of the game day I have made this Friday favorites post all about the Super Bowl game. Have a great weekend! Take a look at my Super Bowl favorites:     Favorite players-  Maybe your favorite guys didn't make it to the bowl. Cheer up! Meet Eric Decker of the Denver Broncos and Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks. Favorite food- Super Bowl is the best time to eat wings and pizza! How awesome is that snack stadium?!? Favorite ad- I love watching the hilarious commercials during the super bowl, but this one looks like it will be a teary one! Too cute! Favorite performer- Bruno Mars is teaming up with Red Chili Peppers and I am excited for Bruno! Favorite Super Bowl fashion- Whichever team you're pulling for, dressing up to support your favorite is part of the game day fun! source source superbowl by lisaa...

wedding wednesday: bridal show

My girlfriend got engaged and we are beginning to plan her special day! It is so exciting! Just last year she was helping me plan my special day. Being able to support her during this is going to be a blast. She is getting married in September, so we are not too far away. Our first bride/bridesmaid outing was at a bridal show in our city. The show was full of ideas and quite overwhelming. There were plenty of cakes to sample, dresses to see, DJs and beautiful floral arrangements. Everywhere you looked were booths and brides to be waiting to see the latest trends in weddings. Every table/floral setting was romantic and soft, probably the trend in 2014 weddings. There was a lot of "grown sexy" (Catherine & Sean's theme from the bachelor wedding) cakes and florals. It was a fun afternoon with my girlfriends, and I think our favorite moment was meeting Emily Maynard from The bachelor & Bachelorette! She was so kind to take a moment from her wedding planning for a phot...

outfit of the day: pink and patches

We got our first snowfall for the year. Our city is supposed to get 2 inches of snow. In our office there was much chatter about the snow day. It's not much, but very exciting for kids who get a snow day. Too bad adults don't get the same! I wish I could enjoy a day to make snow creams and snow ball fights. Oh well, I can enjoy it this evening watching it all from inside. It's so pretty because it's fresh snow that hasn't been touched. I'm not looking forward to the morning drive to the office. Be safe everyone! wearing: H&M blazer, thrifted gingham button up, five and below pink scarf, J brand jeans, rack room boots, n/a tortoise sunglasses

birthday bowling

I'm back! If you missed it, last week my computer crashed. My husband is working on repairing it. Until then I am on my new laptop! It has been interesting learning this new laptop and it's features. I am not tech savvy. When my co-worker (who is tech savvy) talks in his language, all I can do is blink! I wait for him to translate computer language. Ha! Since I last posted, I have been busy. We celebrated Souwan's birthday! The guys had a great time bowling and enjoying beer, while the girls got their own lane and enjoyed some old fashion line dancing. I think my cousin's love to dance (even when there is not a wii Just dance on). Also, we enjoyed cosmic bowling. Cosmic bowling is bowling with laser and back lights with popular music. Very fun! We did not stop celebrating with bowling, we went to see a movie. One of our favorite things to do. Souwan, my brother, friend and I saw Jack Ryan. A great action movie about a cia agent/compliance officer. It made me go to work ...
