Do's Katie Holmes pretty in purple Leighton Meester at perfume launch. This ensemble works well. Last weekend was a busy one for the Duchess. (celebration for Queen's birthday) I love her coat!! An oldie, but goodie. She recycles her blue suit for the Duke's (Prince Philip's) birthday. Katrina Bowden looks adorable with this floral skirt. Just Go with It Brooklyn Decker looks chic pairing a casual top with dazzling skirt. Dont's This orange and purple is not working well for some celebs. Cheryl Cole is an example of one. Where are her shoes at? This dress is not flattering on Carey Mulligan. Maybe if it was altered more? Minka Kelly off the shoulder is very 80s. I think it should have stayed there. This past weekend it poured like cats & dogs. The rain gave us a reason to sit in and watch tv for a little. It was very peaceful. My mom loves when it rains. She does not have to water all of the plants. In her garden there is a pond full of water lilies. Water lilies are favored by her and myself.  In the evening they close and sunrise they bloom. They also remind me of the famous painting by Monet. He painted some beautiful water lilies and the name of it is water lilies, duh. Ha! Tomorrow is FRIDAY! My plans are to stay home and watch movies ALL weekend long. I have stocked up on some movies too. I'm tempted to break my own goal and go see Ryan Reynolds in Green Lantern. Ryan is dreamy. Ha!

For mom's birthday the family had dinner together at our home. My mom is a simple person when it comes to birthdays. Nothing extravagant. So scary how we both like the idea of just a simple birthday. I still say we are opposites in so many other ways. I will deny that we are anything alike til the day I die! Ha! She will say the same. For her big day we had burgers for dinner, smoothies, and cheesecakes. The cheesecakes were bought with various types. Blueberry,key lime, strawberry and orange cheesecakes. Delicious! Then using the angled contour brush layer i-mark in tiki all over the lid and into the crease. Create a highlight by using the mark. eye shadow brush to apply touch & glow in the center of eyelid. Next, using no place to run in shade foxy brown , push into the lash line from the inside corner out, going a little heavier on the outside corners and smudge using the mark. eyeliner brush .
