outfit of the day: pastel pink coat

what i wore: pastel pink coat similar here , long sleeve white cable knit sweater smilier here , target blue leggings, marshall's black ankle boots, charming charlie's statement necklace We have seen snow in the mountains here in NC and the temps are dropping this week to 40s-50s. This coat is perfect for this time of year. Pastel colors are trending, but is also a classic style. Don't believe me? I found this at the thrift store! The beautiful colorful leaves are starting to fall, but I'm enjoying it while it lasts. Talks of Thanksgiving and Christmas decor in the retail stores are welcoming the new season. I love this time of year. Everything is so cheerful and everyone is so joyful. It also brings people together, family and friends. How about you?

kiengkham's korner: easy pork chop recipe

Ranch House Pork Chops     I made this meal for us this week. It was a simple recipe and not expensive to make at all. We do our grocery shopping at Aldi's and I think they have great prices for everything! Pork was $8.21, Ranch mix was .49, Can of cream of chicken soup was .49. I marinated the pork chops overnight with dry ranch mix and a can of cream of chicken soup (you can cook on the stove or crock pot) and for a healthy side I served it with zucchini. Souwan had his with cabbage. Another choice would be to serve it with mashed potatoes!     Our shopping trip this week: spent $13.65 for $52.68 worth of products!! We purchased some great laundry detergent this week. I am very excited to have Tide.   It's been a slow week here in the Kiengkham house, but after a couple of busy weeks it was nice.

anna + charlie - maternity session

I am so excited to share this session. My friends Anna and Charlie are having a baby! They asked me to capture their growing family and it was such a pleasure. I can't wait to meet their bundle of joy soon! Congrats ya'll!

kiengkham's korner: halloween + home

Our Halloween was spent at our church this year. Souwan and I joined our church family for trunk or treat. If you've never been to trunk or treat, well you're missing out on family fun. We had games at each trunk and lots of treats. Every trunk had a theme, just to name a few: gone fishing, a coffin, and ours was Alice in Wonderland's queen of hearts/tea party. It was a fantastic night and we enjoyed being with all of the kids. Our grocery trip this week was great! We got more items for our holiday parties. The gravy mix & pumpkin filling are great for the holiday parties ( I love making cupcakes with the pumkin filling for Thanksgiving).  I am thrilled about getting new eye shadows. Some of these items we will be giving away to charity. I'm really happy we will be able to give some of these items to a good cause. Here is our total, we spent before = $102.54 and after coupons = $19.20!!! It's been a while since I update you...
