The Biltmore {part 1}

(click image to enlarge any photo above)

After our engagement we went on vaction for a couple of days to Asheville, North Carolina. It is in the mountain (west) part of North Carolina. This destination is for the adventure and nature seeking person. Exactly the opposite of myself! I was a little stressed to arrive here. I'm not an outdoorsy girl. Being around all this forestry and nature made me very apprehensive. It turned out well. We visited the Biltmore, home of the Vanderbilt-Cecil family. The Biltmore is breath taking. It is probably the closest I will be to a chateau in my life. Hopefully I will change that last statement. I love French -Europe arcitecture. This is also the largest home in America. You could seriously get lost in this home. ļ»æ

outfit of the day: casual denim shorts and sperry's

what i wore: cynthia rowley tee, american eagle shorts, thrifted belt, juicy couture bracelet, belk's charm bracelet, old navy aviator shades, sperry's top-sider boat shoes. I wore this out for a few errands with the fiance. My car battery needed replacing, I have worn that thing out. Ex. leaving it on while taking naps during lunch. Don't do this ladies. Ha! This look is so comfy and definitely a repeat when I'm running around town.

outfit of the day: fall favorites

These outfit posts were from last years' blog posts. You maybe wondering why? I have been consuming soup and cough drops for the past 5 days-I have been sick with a cold. Instead I have a flashback of my look from fall last year. I'm looking forward to showing you all new looks and innovating new with old pieces from my closet. ļ»æ

makeup monday: blush shades

I'm wearing Maybelline Mineral Power in Rose I'm wearing Mark. blush from natural palette Blush colors: from left to right E.L.F in Coral Mark. Natural Palette Mark. Clutch on the go palette Maybelline dream bouncy blush in pink frosting Maybelline minerals power in rose Mark. Clutch on the go palette (2nd color) My many different blush color choices thru the seasons. I choose coral and neutral colors during the summer and when the fall/winter come I change to pinks and rose colors. My skin is a medium tone and rose/pink colors look best. If you are a lighter skin tone (like Emma Stone or Rachel McAdams) I would go with apricot to coral pink colors for a natural look. Hope you have a magnificent week! ļ»æ
