checking my list twice

Christmas is almost here! I cannot believe that it is so near. This past weekend I tried to finish my shopping. I have four more people to get done. Hopefully it will be finished this weekend. I lack timing this year on gift giving. There are so many things going on. It felt crazy trying to get everyone from my list done on Sunday. I had made a horrible choice of wearing fashion forward shoes. I am left with blisters and a lesson learned. We accomplished going to five different shopping places which included the mall, Sam's club, Wal-mart, Kohl's and Magic mart. I have more ill feelings towards Wal-mart than before. With the crazy holiday crowd everyone has amnesty. To avoid crazy people, a great choice would be online shopping. My Mark. online store ^_^! (at the top of my page) The makeup I wore on Sunday can be a great holiday party look. I like this natural yet festive look. It was inspired from Joan Small . I did  not go too dark on the liner, however you can. Al...

I love peppermint mocha!

Top: Express Pants: Gap Boots: Gift (Mai) NA Bag: Chinese Laundry Jewlery: Touch of Glamour My outfit is casual today. I am trying to get off my lazy gluteus maximus on the weekends. Here is one of my weekend "going to get coffee" outfits. It's a pretty comfy and simple ensemble. I love my new boots with this look too! I had gone to Target for some grocery shopping and tried Starbucks peppermint mocha coffee. It is AMAZING. My mouth is drooling now talking about it. The peppermint mocha struck a cord with me. At work I found some peppermint candy left over from Halloween and put it into my daily cup of coffee. I am such a genius and could take over Starbucks. Ha! Just joking. It was so good and made my day at work. *** I have a great giveaway coming soon! Tune into Monday's post to find out all of the goodies I will be giving away! Can not wait! Tis the season to give! *** I wanted to give a huge thank you to Amy and Juna for giving my blog some love. This made m...

festival of trees + giveaway winner

This past weekend my family and I went to F&M Trolley Barn for the Festival of Trees. There were 52 total at the festival. This was our first year to go see them. Schools and businesses around Salisbury put their best efforts at decorating the trees. Visitors were able to vote for their favorite. It was very hard to vote. All of the trees were amazing! I enjoyed seeing the variety and unique ornaments. The trees were dressed in snacks, candy, hand made art, pictures and lots more. Take a look.  What is your favorite? A majority of these ornaments are hand made. The cool one was the cutip snowflakes! One of my favorite trees. I love history! The tree I voted for. I liked the pearls, dried flowers and music sheet. Very classy. This was a nostalgic moment for me. I remember as a kid making these types of ornaments in school. You cannot have a tree in Salisbury without Cheerwine products! Cheerwine is produced in Salisbury. And the winner for the m...
