Kiengkham's Korner: daddy's girl

I love these two so much! They are my favorite two people to take pictures of. Right when my husband gets home he holds her and plays with her until she falls asleep. We got away from coupons for sometime. Getting back into it and having a baby is hard. Here is our first haul. Before coupons = $79.15 After = $45.75. The toilet paper was the best deal for $2 each!! Homecoming at church. We celebrated 125 years! That is amazing. Haylee finally made it to church this month. She has been doing pretty good! I think she loves hearing the choir! She seems to have this peaceful look when she hears them. Her first time in church photo is on my FB + more photos. Go add me as a friend if you're not! After having Haylee my husband and I have lots of conversations about naps, diaper changes, feedings, and all things Haylee. I find it interesting what our pre Haylee conversations were about and now our world has definitely changed. Just sayin! And ...

Haylee Marie at one month

My sweet girl turned one month yesterday! Time goes by way too fast! She has grown and changed a lot since we brought her home from the hospital. Of course we documented her one month with a mini photo session. Haylee is one month old. 6.9 lbs - 20 inches She loves: smiling sticking her tongue out sleeping with her mouth open holding your finger warm baths sleeping at night for 4 hours family and friends her pacifier sound of heavy rain snuggling and cuddling her bouncer/rocker/swing stroller walks and car rides She hates: diaper changes selfies her bassinet naps in the daytime gassy belly At one month Haylee is cooing and grunting, lifting her head for a minute here and there, rolling onto her side, grabbing fingers and mommy's hair, smiling, working on her crawling (kicking her legs and moving) Watch this video of Haylee Marie doing tummy time, having hiccups, and her first bath!

kiengkham's korner: Welcome to the World Haylee!

Our baby girl was born Thursday August 6th a 11:34 pm. Our day started off at 830 am with a weekly check up at my Ob. During the check up, the doctor said I was 4 cm dialated and in labor. I was in shock. I had no idea I was having strong enough contractions. We had a scare earlier in the week, but ended being sent home because of contractions. These contractions mostly felt like cramps and did not hurt so I thought nothing of it.    Once we checked into the hospital we got to 6 cm and they were ready to break my water. I had been managing the contractions with massages and using an exercise ball. I was on a water diet. Lunch and dinner was chicken broth and jello. I was starving. The contractions had definitely changed and got intense so I got an epidural. I'm not superwoman. Haha. After the epidural and Pitocin, I felt great. The nurses continued to monitor my blood pressure and I did get nauseated closer to the time to start pushing.   She's H...
