5 relationship tips

New Years Eve

Not a pro or anything. Having been together for only 7 years. >_<  I thought to give some insight on our relationship and what makes ours good.

1. Be yourself. Be true to who you are. Don't pretend to be what you are not. Don't mimic someone else. You deserve to be with someone who loves you for you! Don't force it.

2. Trust. Trust each other completely. Your relationship will slowly unravel without this. Fighting every day is not healthy.

3. Be best friends. Tell him everything. Share your day. Have fun together. Be there for each other. Jokes aside- It's been a rough couple of years for me personally and he has been standing next to me thru it all. My best friend <3

4. No friends/family. Your friends and family love to help, but sometimes they butt in where they do not belong. Maybe even make matters worst. Take their advice like a grain of salt.

5. Date each other. Make time for each other at least one night away from everyone. Flirt. Joke. Laugh. Just like when you first met. Go share a fun activity together. We do this all the time. And it ends up with us rolling on the floor laughing at each other. Good times!

  2. I agree with all 5 of your tips.
We have known hubby for a little over 4 years.
We were so lucky as he was the first guy we ever went out with or dated and he was the only guy who ever set our hearts on fire. We never really dated like most people. He would call and want to know if we wanted to go dancing or skating or on a picnic or we would call him to ask if he wanted to go someplace with us. During that year we just had fun being together. The only kissing was good night kisses. I really believe we were born to be together. Even so....we still work to keep our relationship fresh and interesting.
Great post. I'm happy for you.Hug!
    Lots of Love, xoxo

outfit of the day: casual denim shorts and sperry's

what i wore: cynthia rowley tee, american eagle shorts, thrifted belt, juicy couture bracelet, belk's charm bracelet, old navy aviator shades, sperry's top-sider boat shoes. I wore this out for a few errands with the fiance. My car battery needed replacing, I have worn that thing out. Ex. leaving it on while taking naps during lunch. Don't do this ladies. Ha! This look is so comfy and definitely a repeat when I'm running around town.

outfit of the day: classic vest

what i wore: express button up, old navy vest, f21 jeans, gift boots.   Classic pieces stay for a lifetime. I have had this vest for a long time. Traditional yet in style. Not popular, but likable. A little bit of old fashion and tradition may not be popular, may go back "50 years" but this vest seems to never fade out of style for me.

outfit of the day: outdoor fall look

what i wore: gap long sleeve top, target jeggings and boots, belk's bag   I wore this to my cousin's birthday party. It was a lovely fall day, sunny and perfect cool weather for a game of corn hole. We also had lunch and drinks out on their patio. This outfit was great for the outdoor activities and a birthday gathering.     Thank you for reading. Have a lovely rest of the week!
