always remember

We will always remember. We will always be proud. We will always be prepared so we will always be free. -R. Reagan ( I think this quote sums up how I feel)

I was in 10th grade, in my law class.
It was difficult to believe what was happening.
I was watching the news with friends and family all day.
Sadness was all over.

11 years ago innocent lives were lost. We shall remember the fallen and those who became heroes that day. I want to say thank you to our troops who continue to fight for our freedom. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the family and friends of 9/11. God bless.

  3. I had a teacher tell me "you will always remember this day, exactly where you were and what you were doing when you got the news" and it's so true. Such sad events.

  4. Hi Lisa.

It was a very bad day. What I remember most was the the Mysterious Collapse of World Trade Center Building 7
It is commonly known that the Twin Towers fell on 9/11, but did you know that a third World Trade Center high-rise building also fell that day? WTC Building 7, a 47-story steel-framed skyscraper located one block from the Twin Towers was not hit by any plane, but collapsed at 5:20 that evening, imploding in the exact manner of a professionally engineered demolition. It fell suddenly, straight down, at near freefall speed, and landed in a compact pile of rubble, barely damaging any of the surrounding buildings. Astonishingly, there is no mention of WTC Building 7's remarkable collapse in the 571-page 9/11 Commission Report. At a young age Joan and I always loved a good Mystery.
Good Post. Thank you for posting this!

    Love, Joann xxxx

outfit of the day: casual denim shorts and sperry's

what i wore: cynthia rowley tee, american eagle shorts, thrifted belt, juicy couture bracelet, belk's charm bracelet, old navy aviator shades, sperry's top-sider boat shoes. I wore this out for a few errands with the fiance. My car battery needed replacing, I have worn that thing out. Ex. leaving it on while taking naps during lunch. Don't do this ladies. Ha! This look is so comfy and definitely a repeat when I'm running around town.

outfit of the day: outdoor fall look

what i wore: gap long sleeve top, target jeggings and boots, belk's bag   I wore this to my cousin's birthday party. It was a lovely fall day, sunny and perfect cool weather for a game of corn hole. We also had lunch and drinks out on their patio. This outfit was great for the outdoor activities and a birthday gathering.     Thank you for reading. Have a lovely rest of the week!

outfit of the day: classic vest

what i wore: express button up, old navy vest, f21 jeans, gift boots.   Classic pieces stay for a lifetime. I have had this vest for a long time. Traditional yet in style. Not popular, but likable. A little bit of old fashion and tradition may not be popular, may go back "50 years" but this vest seems to never fade out of style for me.
