our favorite moments from Edisto Island

For my three readers.... you guys thought I fell off the face of the planet. I'm very sorry. I have been trying very hard to post. My husband is my witness. Along with this, I struggle wanting to post all 300 photos, but I won't do that to you! This month we have so many trips, and oh... the job (sad face). I'm still working overtime to put away in savings. I'm not planning on purchasing a luxurious trip to Paris ( I wish!), however my husband and I are saving to purchase a heat pump. And it doesn't hurt to save in case we get canned.... hahahaha! I pray that doesn't happen.

Our trip (seems like many moons ago, actually Labor Day) to Charleston and Edisto Island photos are finally posted. This is a trip we take every year, and it's my favorite place! Here are my favorite moments from the trip, check it out...

my look back on 2017

2017 was a fantastic year! Sorry but there are ton of photos. More than years past!! We did so much this year and I wanted to get it all in. I love documenting our memories and being able to look back, reflect and cherish all of these moments.  It is the best part of this blog. I LOVE being able to look at these photos and go back to that time for a second. It's so cool how you look at a photo and all these feelings from that moment flood back to you!! SO MUCH FUN! I hope ya'll had a great year as well and if not... there is much to look forward in the New Year! It's a new beginning!

I'm probably going to write a long blog so sorry!
Our year was full of so many joyful experiences. Our Winter, we received snow and Haylee got to go sledding for the first time. Haylee loved it and we had lot of fun with her. She did not want to come back inside. Souwan celebrated with a low key birthday at home with his new table grill. The Rowan Museum had an awesome exhibit on Cheerwi…

Strawberry patch at Patterson Farm

This turned out to be a great day for the Strawberry patch at Patterson Farm! It was cloudy but warm and perfect for picking strawberries. It was calling for rain but we didn't see a drop thankfully. This was an early Mother's Day trip for us. We have come to this farm every year to pick strawberries and i'm so glad we had another great trip!
Haylee told all of her friends she was going to the Strawberry patch and she was so excited! It's the perfect date or family outing. It's for everyone! Picking strawberries in the patch and having a homemade ice cream is a great way to spend quality time together. Hope you enjoy photos from our visit to Patterson Farm!

Charlotte NC Engagement- Maurice + KaShara

Although we had overcast weather and it was in the 60s, this engagement session turned out to be the best! There wasn't any wind and these two are wonderful! Souwan, Haylee and I drove out to the Noda area of Charlotte to meet with Maurice and KaShara at Amelie's. I had a wonderful time getting to know all about the two of them and details about their upcoming fall wedding. As soon as KaShara and Maurice walked in with huge smiles and hugs, I knew this was going to be a great couple to work with! I have known Maurice since college and was so thrilled that they reached out to me on Instagram. I easily fell in love with KaShara and just knew this is a match! We went out to Noda and our old college stomping ground Frazier Park behind Johnson & Wales. Noda is filled with really great places to photograph from all the beautiful buildings and the artistic work! Frazier Park brought back memories for all of us! They have the cutest furbabies who they used to bring to Frazier. I l…
