Kiengkham's Korner: weekly photos

Over the weekend it was a yard project type of weekend. Souwan woke up early on Saturday with our neighbor to cut down a tree. Don't worry it was far from anyone's home! haha! I didn't capture the tree coming down because the baby and I were still asleep. I did wake up to the clean up process and was so proud of my hubby! Meanwhile, I was inside making breakfast and some coffee for him. I knew he didn't have any yet.

We're planning to use pieces of the tree as sitting area around the fire pit in the backyard. We got the idea from my aunt and uncle. It'll be a nice setting! We just need some friends and family to come roast some smore's with us.

Later on I joined Souwan out in the yard to spread the mulch. This year we got bags from Home Depot. Approx 35 bags of mulch! I think the mulch adds a great curb appeal.

We bought more flowers for the porch and flower beds in the yard.

Our coupon haul is a bit smaller this week. We didn't run to Wal-Mart. I got sick and couldn't stay out. We got to CVS and before total = $73.22 and after = $23.72.

My brother is getting ready for baby Haylee! He was checking out this playhouse and getting his own ideas to build baby Haylee one. He's a great uncle already!

Souwan and I had date lunch. We went to a good BBQ and ribs place. BTW, if you love BBQ you need to come to NC! Afterwards, we went the mall to make baby Haylee a bear!

Souwan wanted to take the sound we recorded of baby Haylee's heart and make a keepsake present. We put the sound in a teddy bear. The recording was from the check up earlier this month. I never told ya'll her heartbeats: the first time it was 180, then 156, 140 and lastly 160. I'm not sure why it changed so much.

We're halfway there!!! I am ready to meet Haylee already! I've been window shopping for baby clothes. I'm pretty obsessed with all baby clothes. I haven't bought anything, but i'm tempted!

outfit of the day: casual denim shorts and sperry's

what i wore: cynthia rowley tee, american eagle shorts, thrifted belt, juicy couture bracelet, belk's charm bracelet, old navy aviator shades, sperry's top-sider boat shoes. I wore this out for a few errands with the fiance. My car battery needed replacing, I have worn that thing out. Ex. leaving it on while taking naps during lunch. Don't do this ladies. Ha! This look is so comfy and definitely a repeat when I'm running around town.

what i wore: gap long sleeve top, target jeggings and boots, belk's bag   I wore this to my cousin's birthday party. It was a lovely fall day, sunny and perfect cool weather for a game of corn hole. We also had lunch and drinks out on their patio. This outfit was great for the outdoor activities and a birthday gathering.     Thank you for reading. Have a lovely rest of the week!

Clutch on the go palette (2nd color) My many different blush color choices thru the seasons. I choose coral and neutral colors during the summer and when the fall/winter come I change to pinks and rose colors. My skin is a medium tone and rose/pink colors look best. If you are a lighter skin tone (like Emma Stone or Rachel McAdams) I would go with apricot to coral pink colors for a natural look. Hope you have a magnificent week!
