Our first Valentine's day.

It's Wednesday, hump day, or WARDROBE Wednesday! Just like the make up blogs, there will be a fashion blog. I'm not claiming to be a fashion blogger. The clothes I wear to work everyday gets a few thumbs up which inspired me to show them off.

At work Valentine's day plans have been buzzing around. Everyone has various ways of celebrating this day. Some go to a romantic dinner, give gifts, or pull all the stops out with carriage rides to champagne on the beach.

This year Souwan and I will be enjoying a candle lit dinner at our home. {I totally got him to spill} With all of the talk about Valentine's day brings memories. Our first Valentine in particular. We should be smiling and saying aww wasn't that just the best? Actually the total opposite. I played V day off and told him that the holiday was insignificant. What I meant was, " I hope he does something sooo romantic and gives me the bear {the one I had been hinting towards}. " He did not do anything. I can't blame him for that.  He was led to believe the V day was just another day. Eventually, I did get the bear. Lesson learned to never do that again. It ruined the day. He couldn't read my mind! No guys can. We laugh and learn. A message to the girls out there waiting for prince to come on a white horse. Tell him you want him in a prince outfit and on a white horse. Ha! Not all guys can be creative on such an intimidating day as Valentine's {day of romance}. The boyfriend has come a long way! He grows romantic with age.

outfit of the day: outdoor fall look

what i wore: gap long sleeve top, target jeggings and boots, belk's bag   I wore this to my cousin's birthday party. It was a lovely fall day, sunny and perfect cool weather for a game of corn hole. We also had lunch and drinks out on their patio. This outfit was great for the outdoor activities and a birthday gathering.     Thank you for reading. Have a lovely rest of the week!

outfit of the day: casual denim shorts and sperry's

what i wore: cynthia rowley tee, american eagle shorts, thrifted belt, juicy couture bracelet, belk's charm bracelet, old navy aviator shades, sperry's top-sider boat shoes. I wore this out for a few errands with the fiance. My car battery needed replacing, I have worn that thing out. Ex. leaving it on while taking naps during lunch. Don't do this ladies. Ha! This look is so comfy and definitely a repeat when I'm running around town.

outfit of the day: classic vest

what i wore: express button up, old navy vest, f21 jeans, gift boots.   Classic pieces stay for a lifetime. I have had this vest for a long time. Traditional yet in style. Not popular, but likable. A little bit of old fashion and tradition may not be popular, may go back "50 years" but this vest seems to never fade out of style for me.
