Super Bowl Party

I found this while shopping at a local store for a steal...$1.00 and it smells JUST like Victoria Secret.

I changed my hair color! I had a fombre (fake ombre lol) hair color. My uncle embarrassed me so I thought it was time for a change. I colored it a dark brown, but it looks jet black. I forget what brand it was, but you can get it at any drugstore.
My fave products to use right now. I use neutral colors everyday and like my lashes to pop. My go to right now are these products. The smokey palette neutral colors (brand n/a) and the Maybelline Great lash curved brush. I like the curved brush, it gets to all of my lashes.A con would be applying too much, it will be clumpy very quickly.

I was shopping in Target for my cousin Ben's 4th birthday present. It's really hard to shop for him. He enjoys his tablet, but I wanted to go old fashion with toys. I'm bit of a nerd, but I like this Batman toy. It was the size of me (not a very tall person)! I would have loved this. I didn't end up purchasing this, but instead a cool power controlled plane.
I joined the groom and groomsmen/ushers for their tux session at Men's Wearhouse. Happy we got a tux picked out! It took longer than expected. Thanks guys for sacrificing your time. I know you had important things. It meant a lot to me they were able to come with Souwan. The other guys that missed it lived in other cities, and we know how it is. No worries! Here is a sneak peek, more photos to come wednesday. However, photos will not reveal the final pick!
After church we made an awesome lunch with the family. Taco soup! It was a first, but not last. It was so good!
My cousin Na's 11th birthday fell near Super Bowl (as always) so we gave her a little birthday surprise. Cake and presents. Na got to pick out a cake at the bakery.

Super Bowl started with the movie "The Blind Side". A great start! It's about Michael Oher on the streets; with the help of the generous Thouy family he climbed his way thru academics and football achievements. A heartfelt story about Oher, who now plays for the Ravens! My reason for rooting on the Ravens. So happy to see him win at the Super Bowl! We had a party with our family and friends, enjoyed some delicious wings and who had friendly bets going on with each other.

my look back on 2017

2017 was a fantastic year! Sorry but there are ton of photos. More than years past!! We did so much this year and I wanted to get it all in. I love documenting our memories and being able to look back, reflect and cherish all of these moments.  It is the best part of this blog. I LOVE being able to look at these photos and go back to that time for a second. It's so cool how you look at a photo and all these feelings from that moment flood back to you!! SO MUCH FUN! I hope ya'll had a great year as well and if not... there is much to look forward in the New Year! It's a new beginning!

I'm probably going to write a long blog so sorry!
Our year was full of so many joyful experiences. Our Winter, we received snow and Haylee got to go sledding for the first time. Haylee loved it and we had lot of fun with her. She did not want to come back inside. Souwan celebrated with a low key birthday at home with his new table grill. The Rowan Museum had an awesome exhibit on Cheerwi…

Nina + Bryan Meadow Creek Farm Wedding

We started the day with sun however we heard the rumbling thunder in the background during the ceremony and started to sprinkle during the reception. It was a humid September day and was sunny outside when I walked into the wedding venue. Bridesmaids laughter, sweet music, and popping of champagne were starting around the Bride's room. The girls were in their matching floral monogrammed robes and helping each other get their makeup done. They looked stunning!

My favorite part was their first look. Nina and Bryan have such a sweet relationship and they celebrated with so much love and joy through the day. I adored how sweet and caring they were during the day, he couldn't keep his eyes off of her during the first look. And she teared up, but had a huge smile standing with him during the first look. It was the best! I loved capturing them!!!

It was truly an honor to be capturing their day! It was such a beautiful wedding! Bryan and Nina were surrounded by so much love and joy fr…

Tips on taking a toddler to Disney World

I got some funny looks when I told people we were taking Haylee to Disney. I know some would say she is too small among many other things, however we did it! Did we get lucky? Maybe! She was the perfect age to ride the rides and meet the characters. Some people thought Disney would not have small rides for children, but maybe surprised that it's the best place for toddlers! The trip was so worth it! Haylee smiled and laughed the entire time. We made so many great memories and we can't wait to go back! If you're here to read all the details on how or what we did at Disney World then stick around!
What we packed:

-Disney clothes. We made our own shirts for the trip. Haylee wore a shirt with Minnie Ears and her monogram. It cost us only $12.  I also bought our Mickey ears from the Disney Store Outlet at the mall on sale for $7! They are around $20 at the parks. You could also purchase Disney character shirts at your local retail store. Buying shirts at Disney World can run y…
