First Home: DIY wooden white picket fence for $60

 
We bought this fence from Lowe's and put it together. The fence and poles were $40 (I have rounded up). My husband and brother dug holes for the poles (3 each) and then attached the fence. This fence doesn't surround our home. The fence is in front of our vegetable garden beds. My husband and I painted it white . The paint and tools were $20. I would say this project took us approximately 6+ hours. My husband then added three pink climbing roses (from Home Depot) and some mulch to finish.

    If you own a wood floor and have dogs, kids, cats or have ever moved furniture ... you probably have some scratches on your floor.building a wood fence

  what i wore: express button up, old navy vest, f21 jeans, gift boots.   Classic pieces stay for a lifetime. I have had this vest for a long time. Traditional yet in style. Not popular, but likable. A little bit of old fashion and tradition may not be popular, may go back "50 years" but this vest seems to never fade out of style for me.

outfit of the day: outdoor fall look

    what i wore: gap long sleeve top, target jeggings and boots, belk's bag   I wore this to my cousin's birthday party. It was a lovely fall day, sunny and perfect cool weather for a game of corn hole. We also had lunch and drinks out on their patio.
