The Faith fair has become an annual Fourth of July tradition for our little family. It's the one time of year I treat myself to a funnel cake! Yum! The BBQ and ice cream at the fair always seem to taste better. Haylee was tall enough to ride a couple of the rides at the fair this year. The under sea adventure was the ride she and Souwan could go on together. She didn't really enjoy the ride as much as watching the other kids. She smiled but no loud noises of excitement from her. I really hope she warms up to it because we're taking her to Disney this fall and this was her trial run! We will just say she did not have a nap yet and was moody. Yep! I'm going with that.
Haylee did enjoy the fishing game. She got 3 tries and 2 of them she caught a shark. She got to pick a stuffed animal from the "medium" collection of prizes hanging. Her choice was a donut. Out of all the cute little animals, Haylee picks a donut. Yes, she is mine. Haha!
The fourth is usually warmer and this year was no different. The weather man called for rain but we never felt a drop. I wanted to dive into the fishing game tank with all of the small plastic sharks. The crazy man who gets dunked into the tank of water had the best job at the fair.
Hope ya'll had a great 4th! We're so thankful for the men and women who fight for our freedom every day. God Bless the USA!
