kitchen facial + daddy's girl

With jobs not accessible and the economy not getting better a spa is not an option. Here is a facial mask you can make from your own kitchen and medicine cabinet. This is a pretty popular facial, it was done by makeup guru (youtube) Michelle Phan and many others. I wanted to share with you my experience with this.

The ingredients:

Honey -a spoon full or less
Asprin (uncoated!)
water 1tsp

*Make sure your skin does not have an allergic/bad reaction to this. Apply a little first and then continue if skin does not feel irritated.

1. You put three asprins in with water. Wait til it dissolves. It should not take long.

2. Then add honey.

3. Mix and apply to your face.

4. Wait 15 min and then remove from your face. Rinse off!

Afterthoughts
That is it! It is a pretty simple facial. I like that it's easy to make. Applying it was a little more difficult. The asprin is supposed to be an exfoliate. I did not think that. The asprin dissolved completely and it was just water and honey. After rinsing it off, my skin did feel very soft. Did my skin feel clean? Yes. I'm not sure I will continue to make this facial. Try it and let me know what you think? Any home facials you have made that could work for me? Let me know below in the comments! Thanks!

In celebration of my birthday this month. 25 pictures will be on my blog. (see #1 in previous post) Here is pic #2 & #3!

outfit of the day: casual denim shorts and sperry's

what i wore: cynthia rowley tee, american eagle shorts, thrifted belt, juicy couture bracelet, belk's charm bracelet, old navy aviator shades, sperry's top-sider boat shoes. I wore this out for a few errands with the fiance. My car battery needed replacing, I have worn that thing out. Ex. leaving it on while taking naps during lunch. Don't do this ladies. Ha! This look is so comfy and definitely a repeat when I'm running around town.

outfit of the day: classic vest

what i wore: express button up, old navy vest, f21 jeans, gift boots.   Classic pieces stay for a lifetime. I have had this vest for a long time. Traditional yet in style. Not popular, but likable. A little bit of old fashion and tradition may not be popular, may go back "50 years" but this vest seems to never fade out of style for me.

outfit of the day: outdoor fall look

what i wore: gap long sleeve top, target jeggings and boots, belk's bag   I wore this to my cousin's birthday party. It was a lovely fall day, sunny and perfect cool weather for a game of corn hole. We also had lunch and drinks out on their patio. This outfit was great for the outdoor activities and a birthday gathering.     Thank you for reading. Have a lovely rest of the week!
